I'm not surprised that Cutty is switching at the end : last episode, we saw he couldn't get his ex back, and here we saw him not appreciating his new life. That discussion with his gardener boss was interesting, he really told him "Yup, it's hot, it's hard, and nobody is gonna reward you for doing your job right. If you want an easy life, go back to your old one."

At the risk of repeating it too much : Stringer should be more careful. Now he knows McNulty didn't give up on him, but Avon is gonna be back soon, cops are pushing his teams, Marlo prepares something against them… I hated how McNulty talked to Leister here, it was a real lack of respect. But I appreciate that, at the end, everyone is on the same page, working on the Barksdale case.
