DRAWING WEEK 36 - THE WIRE

To celebrate the end of this season 2 of The Wire, I had to make a drawing for it. And clearly, if you saw my reactions to the last episodes, you know I hesitated to made another drawing of Frank. But I already made him, so I thought that Ziggy would be the perfect guy. Because... because of him, what he did, that impulsive move of killing these greeks, all the rest happened, he provoked all of the end.
I loved Ziggy's character this season, how he was written. The fact that his family pushed him away, even if they all loved him and we could see it, they couldn't trust him for that business. When all of what Ziggy wanted, it was to be involved, for his dad to see him and consider him like he was considering his nephew, for his cousin to consider him as an equal. Ziggy just wanted to prove he could do it and to be respected. So when Double G didn't let him that win and disrespected him so much... Ziggy lost himself.
