DRAWING WEEK 26 - THE WIRE

A new little drawing about The Wire, and again I hesitated between Bubbs and someone else. And I chose that other person. I think that I love so much Bubbs at this point that I have the impression that drawing him would mean to say goodbye to him... Don't ask, I don't know myself why I have this impression, it's just like that in my mind. I know the character might die "soon" during my bingewatching, and it's already haunting me.
So yes, let's go for Kima. Because she was the first character of the show who truly pleased him. Her attitude, the fact she's so clever, she's a badass woman in a men world, all of that was so cool. Yes, I had a moment of disappointment seing her beating Preston on the ground. But I understood soon that this show would not let any character "all pure/good", that this is the dna of the show in fact, to make the viewers understand that no one is all perfect or all bad, and it's great, it makes amazing characters.

Your drawing is improving a lot! Keep it up! If you wanna improve your style I recommend looking up Line Weight. A variety of line thicknesses can add a lot of depth and make the drawing more interesting. You rarely use shading so it's a good way to improve line-art heavy images. It's used a lot in coloring books too.
