DRAWING WEEK 24 - THE WIRE

First drawing about The Wire, I hesitated a lot between Bubbs and Omar. But I thought about what I would write on the description, and if I have to draw one first, it has to be Omar. Because, for what I know of the show for now, I think that the guy has "better chances" to be killed soon than Bubbs in fact. But yes, you understood here, that I love a lot these two characters.
I appreciated Omar so much since the beginning, because the guy has such a cool attitude when he's "on the field", with the little whistle and all. And I loved the idea also behind his character, the fact that, during that period of time, they created a gay character, who is also a drug dealer, and they didn't make it a subject at all of the character or the story. Everything is about the war against Avon, killing ennemies, surviving, helping some cops but not saying all the truth to them... Omar is a complicated and deep character. For sure, I love him !
