He's not dead, right ? Yes, I talk about Muishiro. We discovered more about what happened to him, how he was saved, and we can say now that his memories disappeared because of all of the traumatic events, right ? No matter what, he's now fully himself, he can express emotions, he managed to kill Upper Five, he saw that the kid is still alive, he HAS to stay alive.
Even more because I think his part in the big story, with Tanjiro, the wielder and all, is not finished, and I began to connect emotionally with him. Okay, the moment with his dead family was sweet, but NO, it's not a goodbye. But I'm not sure we're gonna have confirmation of it during the next episode, which is gonna be more about Upper Four. And for this demon, I want to see the background, the explanation behind his abilities, all of that symbolism with the Emotions defending him.

I think that the marks are coming when they use their full potential, and that's why Muishiro said that thing at the end and the marks disappeared at the same time, like he didn't "need" them anymore. Also, I think they might have appeared the first time when he killed that demon who attacked his brother, but he can't remember it.

And how quickly 5 almost killed Tokito quickly without him trying before Muichiro got the mark? But with mark he killed 5 with EASE and I think 5 didn't land a single hit against him once he had the mark. A demon living hundreds of years and a professional hashira killer in the past, killed almost like he was just a random low-level Demon, insane.

2023-06-07 05:32:35 +0000 UTCYou're right, "eyes closed, body cold", we didn't see it, so Tokito is not dead ! 😊 For me, his personality is closer to Shinobu : we saw he was calm, he can smile and can be nice, but he appreciates also to say the little funny/sarcastic thing. Rengoku, always a sweet and painful memory. Oh, I didn't think about that ! That it's because of Tanjiro that we had these flashbacks about the demons. It's an interesting theory, because yes, everything began because Tanjiro wanted to know more about these demons, and for me, this attention to their backgrounds began with the "ball" and "arrow" demons, no ? He went close to her dying, to give her one of the balls, and he realized they were humans, they are still humans inside... Interesting thought, I like it !

Right now it's Schrodinger's Tokito. We probably won't see him again until episode 11 or 12. Exciting times. Seems like it was in fact when he and his brother got attacked by the demon that caused his memory loss. Now that he has his memories back, I do wonder what his personality is going to be like now. There's a part of me that thinks he might be like either Sanemi or Shinobu. He apparently has *a lot* of anger. So if he's more expressive with it, he might be like Sanemi, but if he hides it behind a smile, then more like Shinobu. I cried when I saw Rengoku. Every time, man. TT_TT I'm actually not surprised that we didn't get the background for Upper 5. Like, whenever there has been demon flashbacks, it's always been with Tanjiro. I feel like that's because Tanjiro is the only one that actually cares. Tokito just told Upper 5 to just die and go to hell already. So I think it's because of Tanjiro's deep care for everything that kinda helps the demons reconnect with their lost humanity. Which is sad for every other demon not killed by Tanjiro. I can't wait to see Kanroji in action. :)
