DRAWING WEEK 17 - THE LAST KINGDOM

This week, we discovered the movie made to close The Last Kingdom, so I had to draw something about it. How on Earth I would not draw Alfred ? If you watch my bingewatching since the beginning, you know how much I fell for his character, and how much I cried when he died. And also how many times I had tears in my eyes each time that after that they were just mentioning him. So yes, drawing Alfred was more than an evidence for me to close that journey with The Last Kingdom.
About the movie, you already know what I think about it : for me, it was a perfect closure. After the show finishing things for Uthred about his own journey, taking back Bebbanburg, the movie had to close the second main narrative arc, about uniting all kingdoms. The final scene was perfect for me, that feast waiting for him in Valhalla. I would have wanted something like that for one or some characters of Vikings, so I loved to have it for him.
