Let’s see what is coming this month?

Full Body bondage!

Finally! I had so many issues adding this… And it’s not even finished, lol. 

So yeah, this month I will focus a bit on the heavy bondage part, and adding fullbody bondage, I can’t give more exact details yet but it will be added…

Elves

I will be adding the new area: the elven forest, introducing 3 new enemies, 3 new elites, new weapons, abilities and sex positions (at least one new threesome)! 

New capture area

With a new area and faction it comes a new capture area!

Undressing split

I will split undressing into male and female, so you can have male and female characters undress differently. This was a player suggestion that I think makes sense. In the same vein I will also separate the Ahegao toggle for male and female characters.

Player bondage style

I will add a setting to allow the player to select the bondage for the restraints they put. This will allow players who like to restrain their enemies to keep their styles consistent!

Optimization

I will try to focus some time into trying to make the game run better. Porting to unity 6 increased the quality, but it made some computers have more trouble running the game, even if the average FPS for most modern computers remained the same. 

Camera update

I will update the walker camera into a more smooth one, and will do cleanup on any issues with the combat camera that remain

Bugfixes

I will try to fix everything reported so far. The last update was very big so it added quite a bit of unintended interactions with the world.

There are some more small things that I’m not sure I will be able to add. Right now I want to focus on the full body bondage, and expanding heavy bondage to have more slots, and some other things. So depending on how I do with that, I may be able to add some more small things.

I will also add a new item: General’s hat!

As a cool popular request item that I kinda forgot some time ago, and now it has been requested again!

I will also include a bonus companion that wears a general’s hat… A purple one!

Yaradiel's crown update 0.6.3

Today is an update day, so let's get to it!

What 's new?

  • Massive change to the new game’s combat UI.
    I changed the old classic JRPG menu to a modern one inspired by persona and exp33. It is much more dynamic and I honestly like it more. (It took a bit of time to get used to it, because I was so used to the old hotkeys).  This new menu uses only 5 keys, down from 9 that it used before. The main reason behind this change was to make the game totally playable with controllers. So now you can completely navigate the combat menu with just 5 keys.
    The downside of the new menu is that we lost 2 slots for combat and grapple abilities. However, we also gained a whole new section for grab abilities. So now you can have all the grab abilities without having the share slots with the standing combat abilities. Make sure to add those to your character!

    *Remade the whole combat UI to a modern and efficient design

*Added a new system for camera to move when changing menus while standing

*Added short descriptions for all actions

*Added the option to disable the new menu camera

  • Added Dirty talk! You can enable it on the adult settings
    It took a while, but it is here! Characters will periodically say things during combat, and when some specific actions happen (like cumming or leaving sex). You can mod this (there is a file on how to mod it on the mods folder). I will for sure expand this system in the future, but right now I’m happy with the results

  • Added a second slot for trinkets
    Not much to say here, just make sure that you go and add your second trinket to your character. You can now make much more interesting setups with two trinkets!

  • Added two new special grapple abilities: go faster and go slower

  • Added some new combat intro animations

  • Added a new trinket to the Drifter shop

  • Added 2 new weapons

  • Added 4 new abilities

  • Added 3 new ero abilities

  • Added a new area: Research lab B

  • Added three new enemies

  • Added three new elites

  • Added one new boss event

  • Added 11 new dialogues!

  • Added a new original sex position: Arcing riding

  • Added a new original foreplay position: Wrestler handjob 3! This one includes MM and FF variants!

  • Added a new threesome sex position: Spitroast IV! (previous month was 3, not 4)

  • Added a new bonus companion (Tina!)

What changed?

  • Maximum level increased to 26

  • Improved some of the combat intro animations

  • Remade the equipment menu. (added second trinket and grab abilities)

  • Equipment menu no longer displays info on modifiers with 0 value (+0 mana regen)

  • Deprecated the status menu in the combat hud

  • Devastation icon is now blue

  • Inventory items description and lore no longer is erased when moving the pointer away

  • Cumming now removes the Weakened debuff

  • Improved the settings menu, adding new options

  • Slightly nerfed Vampiric touch, it was hitting harder than intended

  • Increased Experience and Credits reward by 20%, I nerfed them too much last month

What got fixed?

  • Fixed an issue that could cause character to start combat with higher animation speed than intended, causing that to look comical

  • Fixed an issue with the fingers in the wrestler handjob 2 position

  • Fixed a typo in two abilities

  • Fixed an issue with scroll of recall and sex

  • Fixed an issue when loading stackable buffs with more than 5 stacks

  • Fixed an issue with male outlaws

  • Fixed an issue with bukkake hiding domination bar when not targeting player

  • Fixed an issue with completing some tier 2 quests

  • Fixed an issue with “threading the needle” talent not activating pathways

  • Fixed an issue with the action mode hotkeys not working for bondage sometimes

  • Fixed an issue with quests giving less exp than intended

  • Fixed an issue with riggers advance manual

And that’s all for this month!

Remaking the whole ui and menus took a lot of time and effort (as expected) but I’m really happy with the results, slowly but surely I feel like the quality of the game is rising!

Now you should be able to complete Gwen’s quest, since Thunderfist can be fought now, be warned tho, she loves to crit on people!

[Research] Romances in Arkadia island!

Hey friends!


I'm back again, on the same day!

I have a small poll I would like to do today. 

So, I want to add romance options for the game, (later on), but I want to know which one of the characters you would love to have a romance with!

So the poll is simple: vote on whichever character you would like to have a romance with, but choose either because of their looks, or because of their personality.

You can vote multiple times if you would have romances with different characters, but try not to pick more than three.

Just for the sake of information:

  • You can have any romance, but only one at the same time.

  • Character gender doesn't matter for the romance.

  • Selecting a romance option or not doesn't change the overall ending of the game.

  • Having a romance does not impact general sex gameplay.

2026 and January objectives!

Happy new year!
I hope you are having a wonderful start of the year. I took some days off to rest, and I’m really feeling ready to start working again! 

I do have some reorganizing to do, so I’m not exactly sure what I will be able to get done this month, since one of the things I want to do could take much more time than intended. 

But first, the game is still in phase 1, as some of the medium features (cause I already added all the big ones) are still to be added. This year development will be divided in two parts: The first half, I will try to focus on adding the features I want to have in the game, and the second one (hopefully by the 2 year mark, at july) I will focus to solely work on improving the quality (and still adding content, just not big features).

Features I want to add this year:

  • Full Body bondage - Hogties

  • Full body bondage - Bitchsuit

  • Heavy bondage - Symbian / Horse bench -  (passive adds pleasure)

  • Update combat menus for better gamepad usage*

  • Upgrade Capture system

  • Dirty talk

  • Expand Zantlaha, completing the market area

  • A system for small “jobs” within Zantlaha

  • An emote system

  • A robust photo mode

I would also like to add a map system, but so far I have no idea how to make one that actually works. And last but not least, this year I want to expand massively the amount of dialogues in the game, so the roleplaying game  is a bit more roleplaying…Game!

That’s the wishlist for this year, I hope you like it. The wishlist for expanding and improving other features is too long to post here lol.

So let’s go with the objectives for this month:

Update combat menus for better gamepad usage
I decided to make a rather drastic change to the menus in the game. Right now we have two menus (we have more, but this is the ones that matter for this case), each with 8 buttons, +1 to cancel. So operating the menu via hotkeys requires 9 buttons. I feel like this is too much. I originally went for 8 because it is the total of possible targets, so I will always have that as the absolute maximum input at any time (5 enemies + 3 allies). But I decided to change it to 6+1 inputs maximum (so 6 + the return option).

This means that you will lose 2 slots for both standing and grappled abilities. However, I will add a new category (which I’m still not sure how to name) that will be the “enter grapple” abilities. So this new category and slot in the ui will only be used for that. In the end you will have:

  • Standing abilities -> up to 6 abilities to fight while standing

  • Grab abilities -> up to 6 abilities to enter sex, bondage or similar.

  • Grappled abilities -> up to 6 abilities to use while in sex

I guess for most players the end result will be almost the same for standing combat, while only losing the two slots for grappled abilities, but this will make using the gamepad much more comfortable (and also using hotkeys more comfortable as well). I think this will be for the best in the long run, even if it is a lot of work to remake this. At the end of the day, I aim to have menu interactions in the style of persona/exp-33. 

If this goes smoothly, I would like to add Dirty talk or start with full body bondage this month, but it all depends on how much time I have spent on this. 

Two trinkets

Starting this month’s update, players (only players, enemies and companions can only still use one!) will be able to equip two trinkets. I felt like only one trinket was very limiting and I wanted players to be able to have even more options to make their own builds! I will probably add some more low level trinkets.

New content

As usual I will be adding a new stage, with three new minions, and three new elites,five or six new items, and four new abilities, I will also add at least two new sex positions and a threesome!

Bug fixes

As usual, I will try to fix everything that was reported, and every other bug that I can find. This month I’ve seen issues with loading buffs with high stacks, and also with the master collars (the submission one, specifically), among other things. 

And that’s a super small version of what it is to come this month.

This has been one of the most challenging (if not the most) years in recent memory, both in personal stuff, but with all the censorship and control over the internet. Yaradiel's crown update 0.6.2!

Today is update day! Yay!

Let’s get to it

What 's new?

  • Remade the camera system when entering sex.
    The previous system I had was based on players adjusting the camera and storing that position. While that system wasn’t bad, it wasn’t ideal. It was okay for the time, but I took some time to make it better. Now each sex position has a default camera location - based on the sex starter, not world position -, so if the player is part of that sex position, it will swap the camera position to one of the new ones. You can still move the camera and adjust it as you like. But now each position looks good when entering on it, without needing to adjust the camera.

  • Remade base level scaling of areas for improved progression
    Previously, all tier areas had the same level. All tier 1 areas were level 10 for example, so the first area you went it will be hard, then the second will be easier, and the thing will be super easy, with the fourth one being maybe hard depending on your scaling settings. I made this to give maximum player freedom to explore in any order they want. Now I remade it to a better system. Tier areas scale based on bosses (of that area) defeated. So all tier 1 areas are level 10, but once you defeat one of the 4 bosses of the tier, the base level increases by 2. So the first area is level 10, second 12, third 14, fourth 16. This makes for a much more interesting leveling experience, and still allows the players to freely explore all areas however they want!

  • Added 7 animations for entering combat
    Now when entering combat an animation will play of your character arriving. (Animations change based on equipment, I want to make them better and add more in the future)

  • Maximum level increased to 25

  • Added a new original sex position: Trapped doggystyle

  • Added a new original sex position: Standing doggystyle III

  • Added a new threesome sex position: Spitroast IV!

  • Added new houses to Zantlaha (replaced old ones for new ones)

  • Added a new area: Ark prison: Research area A. The entrance is somewhere in the high security area of the prison… however it is locked until you get the “Proof of Might” quest.

  • Added 6 new spells

  • Added 3 new weapons

  • Added 3 new enemies

  • Added 3 new elites

  • Added 3 new lightning related combat talents

  • Added the new camera system to the gallery.

What changed?

  • Rubyflame spells now deal 50% more damage against aroused targets

  • Imbued strikes is now properly set as auto-target

  • Power infusion casting time reduced by 66%

  • Power infusion is now properly tagged es enhancement

  • Buffs spells who can’t target self are now properly tagged as type 3 for Action mode

  • Characters casting clothing manipulation fetish ability on a character with an already humiliating outfit will just enter into sex instead of casting again the ability.

  • Reduced experience gained, as it was too much

  • Muscle up bonus increased from 25% to 30%

  • Primal urges talent duration increased to 50/200



What got fixed?

  • Fixed an issue with companion abilities hitting grappled characters

  • Fixed an issue that could get the game softlocked when a target becomes illegal

  • Fixed an issue with Rune strike scaling with attack power

  • Fixed an issue with occlusion in the secret passage leading to the bunny fort

  • Fixed an issue with occlusion in the starter dungeon

  • Fixed an issue with the VFX for traveling in the bunny fort

  • Fixed a rotation issue with the stage 3 of Ground spanking animation

  • Fixed an issue with reinforcements in the nazuban war camp 1

  • Fixed an issue with reinforcements in the bunny fort 1

  • Fixed an issue with settings blocking access to the party manager

  • Fixed an issue with the tooltip of Long like the king talent

  • Fixed an issue with the tooltip of Primal urges talent

  • Fixed an issue with preferred positions not being applied on the moment

  • Fixed a logging issue with animators and “-1 state” 

  • Fixed an issue with characters getting falsely redressed when changing zones

  • Fixed an issue with two counter abilities not entering sex

  • Fixed an issue with threesomes with characters with different roles on the same team sometimes not showing dicks or strap-ons

  • Fixed an issue with the travel menu moving the camera

  • Fixed an issue with blindfold effect not being properly reapplied after combat

  • Fixed an issue with master collars not being properly saved

  • Fixed a case of a floating chest

  • Fixed a case of a floating torch

  • Fixed an issue with not being able to leave stealth while having leg restraints

  • Fixed an issue with player jiggle physics

  • Fixed an issue that caused Fury of the storm to be casted on the wrong target

  • Fixed an issue that could cause inputs to not reset in some cases (main menu)

  • Fixed an issue that could cause characters to not get properly captured

  • Fixed some issues with VFX

As you may have noticed, I focused on fixing issues and adding some quality of life improvements. I didn’t have enough time and mental bandwidth to add one big feature like full body bondage or dirty talk. I promise I'll add them soon. This month I wanted to focus on improving what we already have a little. Besides that, the balance changes are to make playing as a support a bit better.

December objectives!

It’s the start of the month, so let’s see what is coming this month!

Quality of life update:
Over the last months I have been working very hard on implementing new features and moving to unity 6. I improved animations, visuals, sfx and vfx, so for this month I want to take a more chill approach (not only because i’m kinda exhausted) but also because I have accrued a small technical debt, and I hate debts!

So the main feature for this month will be fixing stuff.

I will also add the usual stuff:

  • New area: The Ark prison research area A!

  • New enemies and elites!

  • Two new sex positions and at least one (maybe two) new threesomes!

  • New abilities!

  • New items!

  • I will modify rubyflame spells to passively deal 50% more damage to aroused targets (base damage will be reduced a bit tho)

  • I will put some time on optimizing to improve performance

And outside of that I may add something else, but It will depend on how it goes. 

I have been wanting to add full body bondage for over half a year now, but I never get the time to focus on it. I also want to add dirty talk, or even expand the capture system a bit. 

So maybe I'll add one of those, it all depends on how the month goes.

I’m glad you guys enjoyed the graphics update, it had less bugs than I expected so that was a win.

[Research] Factions and ideas!

Hey friends, I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Today I come with some research.

This is mostly a popularity poll. I want to see what things you would like to see either on Yaradiel’s crown, or on future games. So below is a list of 25 possible factions concepts. Some of these you may already have seen in YC, some will be there, some not. So, go and vote on which ones you would like to see in our games!

You may notice that there is some overlap in concepts, such as several types of “barbarians”, in this case I will end up picking one, maybe two at max, there won’t be 10 barbarian factions. 

So, just take a look at the concept and vote on the ones you want, please do not vote more than 6-7, so we don’t end up with a giant tie of all factions. 

Subjugators - A black leather, latex and bondage group of bounty hunters, ready to capture any prey...

Royal knights - European style knights and templars, ready to fight in heavy armor

Nazuban - Samurai and ninjas who utilize katanas, ninja skills and poisons.

Vikings - Powerful and muscular vikings who focus on using great weapons and cold magic

Aztec warriors - Aztec styled warriors and conjurers who wield the rubyflame 

Storm knights - European style knights, but with lightning powers and sorceress that supports them

Forest elves - elves who wear green and usually become rangers and druids

High elves - elves who utilize elven styled heavy armor and blades. They are supported by arcane mages

Dark elves - blue skinned classic drows, who wear leather and utilize dark magic to subjugate everyone

Orcs - A group of classic green orcs, strong and fanged. (Due to engine limitations they are human sized)

Desire enclave - Sensual dancers who just focus on beauty (as they are in YC)

Technomancers - Sci fi tech based group, using lightning tech and a lot of cyber bondage

Witches - The ravenwood coven of witches, they focus on using dark magic and wearing a lot of black.

Templars - A nun/monk/templar faction, who has all the power of faith and loves to dispense punishment

Latex fighters - Who utilize sexy shiny outfits and like to wrestle and fight with different martial art styles

Cyber warriors- Soldiers who utilize sci-fi styled outfits, lots of leotards.

Bunny squad - A group of only bunnygirls (or bunnyboys) who use great hammers and love explosions!

Maid squad - A group of only maids who are prepared to fight

Retainers  - A group that includes maids, bunnies, nurses, and office outfits. This is a variant to include all uniform-based enemies in a single group.

Kemonomimi - (also known as monster girls) a group of outlanders who have cat/bunny/wolf/fox ears and tails (but human genitals) and are coming to steal your lunch!

Succubus - A group of sex demons who will seduce everyone on their way

Demon invaders - A group of red-skinned powerful demons that use strength and magic to dominate their enemies

80s metal - A group of barbarians wearing classic outfits. Tiny loincloths, big horned helmets, even bigger muscles

Gym rats - A group of powerful fighters who love lifting weights and wearing gym outfits

Collector - A group of rangers who focus on capturing adventurers to become part of their leader’s harem

This month’s big feature was the update to unity 6, which came with a lot of visual changes. But since I spent so much time over the last months preparing for this moment, I could add some new features as well!

[Comparison: old vs new]

What 's new?

  • Updated to Unity 6. Making many significant changes to the game’s backend

  • Updated hair shaders. You may need to adjust the alpha and colors a little.

  • Updated skin shaders. You may need to adjust the colors a little.

  • Added a new toggle: Clothing manipulation affects allies
    Previously this wasn’t affecting allies, it was a bug (rather, a shortcoming of previous iteration)

  • Added a new feature: Messy makeup! When enabled after cumming 3 times in a row female and femboy characters will have their makeup messed up!

Some small mentions of the changes


With all the changes to shaders, materials, lighting, exposure, compensation, and all of that, your character’s appearance may not look the same as you remembered. You will probably need to adjust skin tone, hair color, eye color, etc. I tried to make the transition to the new engine version as smooth as possible for players.


Regarding VFX: I basically replaced all the VFX for new ones. I will update weapon trails and buff effects in the future as well.

Rubyflame spells were originally not available until very late, but I decided to change it, so players can “taste” rubyflame spells early on. In the same way, I added a new spell to Tessa’s shop at level 1: Thunderstrike, it is a basic lightning spell, since there was none for level one. 

I also added the bondage arcana talent, which is a topic with very mixed points of view, something I find very interesting. In the end I added it, so players that want to play as bound sorcerers can, however, this has two limitations: You won’t be able to cast if you are weakened, or if you are bound - that means if you have the maximum number of restraints on you - . So once you are bound your only option is to submit or try to escape from the restraints, however in all other cases you could be a bound sorcerer.

What about performance?

According to my measurements performance now is… pretty much the same. Some things gained performance, but some others cost more performance, (like realtime screen reflections and all the improved lighting), so the overall result is that performance is basically the same as before, which is kinda a win for me.

I hope you enjoy this update, because damn, it took a lot of work to get it done!

November objectives!

Hey friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful start of the month

This month there aren’t that many objectives per se, but rather a complete overhaul of the graphical aspect of the game. 

I will be moving from unity 2021 to unity 6.2, with all the improvements these include:

  • Graphics will look prettier, and the environment will fit better with the characters

  • Postprocessing effects will also be remade and improved

  • The game should run better (in theory) due to several optimizations when changing the lighting workflow

  • Better jiggle physics calculations (and cheaper in performance)

  • Better backend tools for me so I can iterate faster on levels

  • Possibility to add FSR in the future (so it can run better on older computers)

This also comes with a lot of work because I will have to retouch all the areas one by one to adjust lightning, fog, and other miscellaneous things.

This is the center feature of this month, I am not sure how long it will take me, there is even a small chance that things go bad and I'll need to push the update a bit later than the usual date.

Things that could come this month if the update to unity 6 goes right:

  • New area: Ravenwood manor top floor

  • New enemies and elites

  • New area boss with their own dialogue 

  • Two new sex positions and a new threesome one

  • New abilities

  • New items

  • Action mode for removing restraints

  • Action mode becomes harder while charmed

  • Resolution for the Secrets of Ravenwood quest

  • New dialogues

  • Bug fixes: will fix all the reported bugs 

  • Will also fix an issue with some glasses not being removed when blindfolded

  • Will also increase credits gained

And probably nothing more because that’s a lot…

So yeah, these are the listings for this month’s update. 

I still haven’t decided what to do exactly with the magic and bondage, while there are currently some spells that can be casted while bound, I’m not sure if making the only option for those players be “here, there are a total of 2 (6 later on) spells for you to choose from. Enjoy your kinky game where if you go too kinky your options are reduced to 2.”

Also regarding the lewd crests, I do not have any intention of changing how they are working right now, I will however, later on add more based on the poll’s results.

[Research] Of gameplay and punishment!

Hey friends

I hope you are having a wonderful day. 

Today I come with a bunch of questions and things that I would like your input on. 

There is something that I have been circling around for a while, and thanks to some players, over the last weeks I have been giving it a new go. This is basically the concept of gameplay freedom vs punishment.

As much as I like bondage, and I want to have my character running around, with their arms bound kicking ass (literally kicking), if the character can act totally free even while bound it kinda loses the whole purpose/danger of being tied up.

So for this I found some possible solutions:

I plan to add some talents that may allow characters to do certain actions in some cases, but I have some questions, which of these would you prefer:

1 - Leave everything as is, no bondage casting or similar. (maximum punishment)

2 - Add talents that allow casting while your arms are tied but your legs are not. So you can cast as long as you are not fully bound, or in heavy bondage.

3 - Add talents that allow casting while your arms are tied or bound, as long as you are not weakened. (maximum gameplay)

In this particular case I’m talking about bondage casting, but could also be used for kicking as well. (not using weapons tho)

I want to preserve the level of punishment for having these restraints, and even more for cases where you are weakened and/or defeated, so finding a solution for this is not easy.

This is something that, after being decided, I will also apply to future projects.

Another thing that has been going around my head is the whole thing about lewd crests.

I didn’t knew much about it, but I been reading a bit, and got some interesting feedback from players that made me want to go deeper. I don’t know how much I would be able to add in this game without breaking the balance of things, and to be honest the game already has a lot of different features and things going on, but stuff not used for this project will be used for future ones.

Would you be interested in having lewd crests like:

1 - I like it as it is currently, no more complexity is needed

2 - I would be okay with lewd crests being added as a side-quest or a curse, requiring completing some objective to be removed (and having a bigger effect)

3 - I would be okay with lewd crests being part of deals that we can take willingly, but that last very long and cannot be removed early.

Another question I have is about costumes.

Would you like it if there were some small events, quests or scenarios where the characters are required to wear a specific outfit. An example of this is working as a maid and having to wear a maid outfit, or working on a bar and having to use a bunny outfit, or even having an infiltration mission requiring you to wear a stealth black catsuit.

These are all hypothetical questions, I do not have plans to add this for now, but it may open some possibilities for the future, only if players are okay with this.

Of course these outfits are temporary, similar to how the current humiliating outfits work.

1- I would rather not have my outfit replaced by something else, even if for a minute.

2 - I would love to have to wear outfits for special jobs or scenarios.

And lastly, on a general note, when in a captured or punished scenario, would you rather

1 - Focus on the punishment, even if it removes gameplay agency for a bit

2 - Focus on gameplay, even at the cost of making the punishment less severe (or easier to escape)

I got 90% of the things needed to do the unity upgrade, so I’m just preparing for the big task. Have a great week friends!

What is coming next month...

Hey friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Today I come with some news, and basically tell you what I've been doing over the last months…

You may remember that I have been talking a lot about R&D, as in research and development.

I figured that I usually just do stuff, which has led me a lot of times to have to remake parts of systems to add new things, so in light of that, taking development time into researching and planning things before going into “make stuff” mode turned out to be a great idea.

Over the past months I have been working on improving the graphics. Something that I thought wasn’t possible, but I have seen other Unity games with great graphics, so after a thorough investigation I found out some things I could do. 

This is the result I’m aiming for.

I managed to make this in a different unity project after a lot of trial and error and testing of new systems. Making this however took a lot of time, because I had to commission several new shaders, and test a bunch of lighting possibilities, among many other things. 

So this is what is coming for the next update. Which is going to be a huge, HUGE ordeal. I originally intended to  do this update for end of the year, but, because for the last update I wanted to make the demo with the fix to the unity security issue, I had to update the unity project version form 2021.3.12 to 2021.3.45, and because of that  the dialogue editor got completely fucked up.

I’m saying that doing something as simple as connecting two dialogues (to fix the High bunny dialogue issue) took over a minute, something that previously would take 2 seconds. In the current state the dialogue editor is unusable, which blocks me from a bunch of interactions: new boss dialogue, question completion dialogue, personal dialogues progression, etc. So I figured, if I have to update unity again I will update to unity 6, which is where the R&D project is at.

This could either be done in 4 days if everything goes smoothly, or it could be a disaster and take a lot more… I know at least three of the tools I’m using are not supported in Unity 6 (however one of those would no longer be needed), I will have to convert roughly 10000 materials (granted most of them will be converted via script, but I will still  have to manually adjust a lot, specially those that use non-standard shader). And I will have to completely rebuild the lighting system.

At the end of the day, it will look better, and maybe it will even run better, both because of unity 6 optimizations, but also because I will be able to move to baked lights using the adaptive lighting probes. The only concern so far in this area is that build size may increase.  

There is a lot to test, and I’m both incredibly anxious and wanting to make it, but also terrified, because this is going to be a lot of work, with a lot of potential break points. 

So, yeah, I just wanted to show this, and tell you that next month’s update may come a bit later than usual if things don’t go as planned. As much as I wanted to focus on full body bondage, I have to get this done before…

But before that I'll take a few days off, so I can come back with as much mental energy as possible to withstand all the bullshit that will definitely happen when upgrading from Unity 2021 to Unity 6…

  • Added a new fetish ability: Submission training! Enemies will attempt to use it to enter sex and reduce your Grapple power. Every time you cum you reduce it even more and refresh the duration!

  • Added a new type of trap: Lewd crest trap

  • Added a new feature: Dominator’s grandeur. Whenever you perform a reversal while dominating your Grapple power and Ero power are increased by 15%, stacking up to 5 times. 

  • Added a new male bunnysuit cloth option

  • Added a new male corset option

  • Added a new male thong

  • Added a new male garterbelt

  • Added a new area: Ravenwood manor, ground floor. 

  • Added a new capture area: Ravenwood manor catacombs

  • Added a new enemy: Hexbinder

  • Added additional quest description to point out the location of quest areas

  • Added 2 new female clothing: Exterior bra and Exterior bodysuit, basically a bra and a bodysuit that can be worn on the Jacket slot, so you can use other items in the torso interior slot (such as a transparent catsuit)

  • Added a new original foreplay position Spoiling handjob. This includes MM and FF variants, as well as perform and command variants

  • Added a failsafe in case the act 2 quests are missing you can get them again

  • Added a new original sex position intimate hugfuck

  • Added a new original threesome position: Kissing doggystyle threesome

  • Added new lore notes to the prison area

  • Added new lore notes to the den of desire

  • Added new lore notes to the Ironstone fort

  • Added new lore notes to the nazuban war camp

  • Added new weapons

  • Added new abilities (and ero abilities)

  • Added “spell” variants for all other traps

  • Added a new bonus companion: Nayi, rebel witch (of hallow’s end!)

  • Added a “Do nothing” special during sex because players requested it

What changed?

  • Improved the clothing manipulation: now the outfits can be modded! (greatly improved the system background code as well)

  • Changed the amount of experience awarded and drastically reduced the amount of experience needed for leveling up

  • Adjusted the rotation on 73 sex animations so they all look on the same direction

  • Adjusted items ui for numbers bigger than 9999

  • Upon entering shops and after buying something, other items are automatically selected, in case you want to spam-buy

  • Increased the amount of scrolls sold by Tessa

  • Dire enemies now give 300% of normal exp when defeated

  • Max level increased to 23!

  • Charming betrayal base potency increased from 90 to 150, making it less likely that companions will just resist it. (however, some companions can still resist it while at full resolve)

  • Updated female shorts (clothing) with some of the new textures from two months ago

  • Low level quests credits reward increased by 40%

  • Reduced the focus cost of Double edge to 20 Focus

  • Rebalanced most bratty abilities to be more efficient

What got fixed?

  • Bonus damage not triggered no longer spawns a “0” floating number

  • Fixed an issue with the afterglow vfx not being in the correct position

  • Fixed a cum animation issue with wrestler oral threesome

  • Fixed an issue with AI being dumb about hold position sometimes

  • Fixed a flying torch

  • Fixed an issue with some missing positions in the preferred positions

  • Fixed an issue with player characters not loading properly on the gallery (as npcs)

  • Fixed an issue with the 3 missing ero manuals

  • Fixed an issue with the bunny brawl quest not counting the enter area trigger

  • Fixed an issue with talent Inspired domination sometimes granting the buff to the wrong target

  • Fixed an issue with buffs and changing areas

  • Fixed an issue with charming betrayal and threesomes, now whenever you are in a charming betrayal sex interaction, the player will always be the target

  • Fixed an issue with the ambush event in the bunny fort 2

  • Fixed an issue with the High bunny dialogue when you are honest and say that you are the third strongest

  • Fixed an issue with Heroic gambit talent

  • Fixed an issue with dicks not showing when non clothed by default

  • Fixed an issue with the talent Bound reversal not triggering the buff and breaking things

  • Fixed an issue with a talent not connecting to others as it should

  • Fixed an issue with Heroic gambit talent not working properly

  • Fixed an issue with party manager not showing party members sometimes

[I wonder what this pretty magic circle does?...]

And that’s all for today!

So a couple notes on the new stuff:

Hard mode bosses
Enabling this increases the health and damage of the bosses by 20%, not much, however, this also grants them new abilities,  -deceitful abilities- , who have a golden casting circle instead of the usual colored one. You can still tell what type of attack is based on the name of the attack but also based on the animation. Every time a special ability hits you the boss will become stronger, gaining more damage and ero power (which can end up snowballing into the boss oneshotting you, so be careful!) 

Hard mode bosses also give more experience, and there may be some stuff in the future related to how many bosses you defeated in hard mode.

Once you handle them, give me some feedback on hardmode, so I can see if it needs more tuning!

Submission training and Lewd crests

Originally these were going to be similar abilities (submission training and slutification training), but after seeing how excited people got over the concept of lewd crests I decided to change the second to be the lewd crest. Submission training is both a grapple ability that you will get later on, but also a fetish spell that allows enemies to cast the ability on you as soon as you enter sex. Both of these abilities provide a debuff, that stacks up to 10 times, and every time you cum you gain a stack and the duration is reset.

Lewd crest works the same way, but it can also be triggered from the new spell traps.

Experience overhaul

So I was happily testing things and realized I was taking too long to level up, and saw I needed like 500k experience. Naturally I hate numbers that big, so I ended up revamping the whole experience (and credits) values. I know some of you may be against it but, having 200k+ credits on each character is silly. Right now, I changed it so on average, fighting enemies of your level you need 10-12 combats to level up (based on enemy composition, elites, etc). The previous system was scaling too much, so you will probably instantly level up the first level, and then see that you will gain very small amounts of exp, however the exp for leveling up has been massively reduced, so it’s all balanced… (hopefully!)

Customizable humiliating outfits

This was kinda unexpected, but I decided to take a day to do this right now because of reasons. So now you can just make any outfit for your character in the character customization, and then grab the file, change the name and put it in the HOutfits folder and voila, you can replace humiliating outfits for any faction you want!

You want to make sure that the prison won’t put the “prisoner” catsuit on you but instead a set of lingerie, or a maid outfit, or even an empty outfit (they stole your clothes!). Well you can do it now!

Just follow the instructions on the mods folder!

Making these was fun, this update also fixes the unity security issue, however, in updating the unity version to fix that thing, now the dialogue editor doesn’t work, so I will be forced to make some sacrifices for next month’s update… I will talk more about it next week, but something big is coming…

This month’s special partner is a rebellious Halloween witch!

And lastly, to access the new area you will need the quest “The secrets of Ravenwood”, you will not be able to complete the quest this update tho. Once you have the quest you will find that the road on the south-west of Central ruins can now be accessed so you can go towards the manor.

October objectives!

Hey friends

Here are the objectives of this month:

Hard mode!

Elites in hard mode are a bit tougher, are better at grappling and pleasuring others, but also gain access to new skills:

Deceitful strike, grab, and spell. When casting these abilities, the boss will have a golden casting circle instead of the usual red, teal or violet. However, you can notice what type of ability is by the name (attack, spell or grapple), but also by the animation!  

Additionally, every time the elite successfully hits you with one of their special abilities, they become more and more powerful! (increased damage and ero power) 

So far I have been testing it and I had a lot of fun with this new mechanic. 

Elites and bosses in hard mode provide much more experience.

Hard mode must be enabled on shrines before fighting the elites.

New area: The Ravenwood manor!

New enemies: Sexy evil witches!

New extra companion: A non-lore, spooky witch that will help you with support spells! (for an aggressive witch that can hit hard look for Alyssa)

New traps: Watch out for inconspicuous magic circles on the floor…

New sex positions: Two new sex positions, and at least one threesome will be added, and this area’s theme is “sensual”

Sex position rotation unification

I spent more time on this than what I would have liked, but finally all sex positions by default should look in the same general direction. This is one of the problems of dragging an error for years! (but hey, I finally solved it!)

New mini-mechanic: Dominator 's grandeur. Now, whenever someone uses a reversal while dominating, they get a stack of Dominator’s grandeur, increasing their Grapple power and Ero power. This stacks up to five times and lasts for 150 seconds. So you can decide to change to a different position for future gains! (sexy stonks!)

(This adds a bit more of gameplay for those who enjoy the dominant and wrestler type gameplay)

New spells (shadow themed)

New weapons 

And very importantly

Bug fixes!

So that’s what is coming this month.

I will also start with the full body bondage but I don’t think there is any chance I can get it done for this month’s update. 

I don’t have much more news other than I’m preparing everything to make a big change for December's update, but man, some parts of the “research and development” part are beating me up (mentally), so learning those things is taking a lot of time, but it will be worth it…

[Research] Dire enemies and some adjustments!

Today I come with some questionsI have, for a research poll!

Since this month’s update didn’t have any serious issues, I could take a bit more time to focus on other things, so this is why I haven’t made an “F” version this month. All issues will be fixed for the next update.

After having fought the dire enemies, what is your experience? Did you enjoy the dire enemies? (not only in concept, but also when fighting them). 

The three options here are very simple and don’t need explanation:

  • I loved the dire enemies, we need more of these per area!

  • I liked them, but 2-3 of them per area is enough

  • I dislike them

You can also tell me why you disliked them, or even give some other ideas about future dire enemy concepts. So far, dire enemies will either: put restraints, weaken you, arouse, charm or poison you, based on the area. 

On another topic, the sensual betrayal ability, used by enemies to seduce your companions into having sex with you is an ability that isn’t affected by the action mode. This is just a systems-interaction, since the ability isn’t targeting you directly, you don’t see the option to avoid it with the action-mode system. 

Would you prefer:

  • I like how it is, if I don’t interrupt it in time, it’s my fault.

  • I would like to be able to avoid it with action-mode, even if it is targeting me indirectly

And lastly, on the topic of enemies escaping from sex positions. This is strictly speaking about the mechanic of filling the escape bar to leave the sex interaction, not of leaving after cumming or other similar effects. In general most enemies shouldn’t  use it much unless in specific scenarios (such as being dominated and not being submissive)

Would your prefer:

  • I like how it is, enemies can escape when filling the bar

  • I would like if enemies cannot use escape, but instead will always do a reversal when filling the bar

This last one is mostly for future projects, rather than for YC, since YC has very few limitations when coming to this, but I’m just throwing ideas against the wall and this came to mind.

  • Added Dire enemies! These enemies have a circular aura around them, and are more powerful than most minions. If you start a fight with them in any other way than ambushing them, they will do something nasty to you at the start of the match. Valley fortress diré enemies put restraints, but in other areas they will do other stuff!

  • Added a new area: West passage. This passage connects the front of the valley fortress with Zantlaha. You have to open the gate to use it (does not open from this side)

  • Added 13 new combat talents

  • Added 21 new ero talents

  • Added a new area: Valley fortress, top floor!

  • Added 3 new enemies!

  • Added 3 new elites! 

  • Added 3 new weapons

  • Added customization to the main menu (for new characters). You now can customize your character before starting your adventure.

  • Added Casting animations. Now each type of enemy ability has a specific casting animation. This will be important for the next update…

  • Added Samira, as the first bonus companion (check the mods folder)

What Changed?

  • Imbue strikes now properly only affects the caster

  • talent “Servicial“ buff power increased from 25% to 35%

  • Slightly remade some lustfallen talents. The new lustfallen talents actually make the character weaker to ero combat

  • Allies now also benefit from Ambusher buffs

  • Enrage bonus attack power increased from 25% to 35%

  • Wearing no clothes on your bottom and torso (both interior and exterior) now properly marks you as undressed.

  • Increased the cap for Ero power vs Ero resistance pleasure scaling.

  • Lustful stat reduction reduced from level *2 to level +5.

  • Replaced the old punishment and penitence dresses with new ones (that are sexier!)

  • Access to areas is now tied to quest (active and completed), rather than main event, to prevent future data issues.

  • Reduced enemy weapon damage scaling for Tier 2 enemies. They were hitting harder than expected

  • Divine fervor buff to allies increased from 15% to 25% per stack

  • Power storage buff increased from 50/100% to 75/150%

What got fixed?

  • Fixed an issue that was blocking some of the character dialogues

  • Fixed an issue that could cause stacking buffs to end up giving permanent negative debuffs

  • Fixed an issue with dick colors for non player characters

  • Fixed an issue with wrong ids on items on the bunny capture area

  • Fixed an issue with talent Expert comeback not adding bonus damage sometimes

  • Fixed an issue that caused Frustration to not be removed when resting sometimes

  • Fixed an issue with some buffs not being removed from allies when resting

  • Fixed an issue with the description of Commander’s chain in the Drifter store

  • Fixed an issue with commander trinkets not granting buffs sometimes

  • Fixed an issue that could get the player stuck when leaving sex in true realtime

  • Fixed an issue with summons not spawning for some bosses in the club

  • Fixed an issue with Grab and restrain ability, now it puts 3 restraints on minions

  • Fixed an issue with the player regaining health when restraining allies sometimes

No emotes?

Well no, it wasn't worth adding then yet. I don't have enough [good] animations for emotes, and adding emotes would require to spend time on something with minimal impact, so I preferred to spend that time fixing stuff 

I still plan to add them later on, but I will add all the emotes at once.

Overall this update brings a bit more stability, and a lot of new talents, both for combat, and for ero talents. New combos are possible, and playing as a full support gets buffed. I really want to make all gameplay styles viable, without making anything extremely OP. However, for those who like to be as OP as possible, the cap for damage in ero combat has been extended from max damage at 3x more Ero power than opponents Ero defense, to up to 5x. So, if your opponent has 30 Ero defense, having more than 90 Ero power had no impact. Now it scales much more, so you can become very powerful at single-focusing in dealing pleasure!

Lastly, I added the first bonus companion. These companions have no meaning or sense within the lore of the game. They are just visitors that came to the island basically. What  will the bonus companions b e? basically, anything I (or even some of you) fancy. The first one is “Samira”, a fan version of Samus. So if there is any character, male or female, that you would like to see as a possible companion, - even if it doesn’t fit with the lore of the world - (but could be made by the game customization), suggest it on the discord, and it may appear in the future!

I already have a small list of characters I would like to have as bonus companions, inspired in 2b, Tifa, etc…

September objectives

Hey friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Let’s see what will be coming up this month

First I want to focus on fixing the remaining issues from the past updates, for some reason the buff bug seems to still happen to a small group of players, among other things. 

I also want to introduce a new mechanic: The DIRE enemies!

These enemies come in duos, and are much more powerful than normal minions (but are still minions, so they are less powerful than elites), however, entering in combat with them in any way other than ambushing them, will result in them instantly putting up to three restraints on you! 

So be careful, either avoid or ambush them, cause if they catch you are gonna be in trouble!
(Different dire enemies will have different effects later on)

I will also be adding a new area, enemies and sex positions, as usual, but this month I will try to spare some time to add a bunch of threesomes, as I haven’t been adding many of those lately (due to them taking too long to make)

I want to add more content, so I will be adding new talents, ero talents, and a few more spells and weapons. 

And that’s mostly it. More bunnies, fixes, dire enemies, talents, and of course some more extra small features that I may be able to do on the fly.

There is also something I want to add that is emotes!

but it may take a bit more than the time I have, so it is uncertain for now.

As some of you know, I always try to use the last week of each month for R&D (research and development), or potentially new things to add to the game. Over the last weeks I have been working on something that will be a great improvement to the game later on. I don’t want to say much, but it is not a new feature, but rather improving something in the game that will make it much better. However, this requires a lot more of research, because if I fuck and things didn’t work as I want, I could really fuck it up…

So I basically want to take a bit more time into research and development so I can prepare for this big ass update for end of the year. I aim to bring this thing either in December or January. But, as I said, I need a bit more time to focus on it, so I don’t half-ass the thing and screw it. 

So this month’s objective is rather to focus on stability of the game, and adding content.
