Guys, as you can see with the long intro, I was really anxious before beginning this episode because like everyone I have expectations and I'm stressed to be disappointed and also a lot for people to talk badly about this anime which bring us so many emotions when it was out, but that now they don't consider that much… And I was also afraid of where the story would go. But the opening scene weirdly reassured me : it was awful, we saw all of this people dying, in so much pain, but it was a big and really good reminder that Eren is committing a genocide here and he's conscient of the horror that it is, and we can see. Even his blind fans who understand his reasons (like everyone) and are ruling for that option, can't deny it.

This first chapter confirmed that here, during Part 1, we're gonna prepare for the real combat against Eren. And for the rest, it's gonna be about the characters and who they were, what they dreamed of when they were kids and where they're standing now. For me, Part 2 is gonna be made around them, forced to respond to the big question : what you are now, what you are doing, is it really matching with what you dreamed of ? And clearly, Eren fools himself by thinking what is doing now is freedom, but he sees himself as a kid, he thinks he's pleasing that kid, accomplishing what we wanted. But Eren, you're not flying over a beautiful landscape, you're flying over millions of bodies, of people you killed, and you're all alone, without people you love and you should share that fake freedom with.
