Hello !

This first episode was made clearly to introduce the whole season : Mando and Grogu, back together, are gonna go on Mandalore because nothing counts more for him than his redemption. At this point, maybe it will change. Homeworld, the Lightsaber, Bo Katan, all of that. I was surprised by this episode, at first that the recap didn't contain anything about what happened to Grogu in the Book of Bobba Fett, so people who didn't watch it couldn't understand anything. I didn't understand why.

Surprised also by how bright the episode was done, like with warm colors, lights really present, and with almost joyful music. After the dark and epic ones at the end of season 2. And surprised finally by how this episode was built : clearly, half of it was interesting, with Mando justifying he wouldn't accept that nice place offered because he wants his redemption more than anything, and the final scene with Bo Katan. And the western moment was a pure Mandalorian moment, so totally okay. But the fight with the creature was unnecessary for the story and the fight with the ships was cool but also felt like a fan service scene.
