I was so shocked by the final scene that it took me some time to even understand why. A lot because for me, temples are sacred in all religions and to kill people into it, it's just awful. Right there, to know they were praying to the same gods that Harekr believes in, and it was prayers for him, his safe return, it feels even more outrageous. So behind that, to see that intense rage to do it, with racist reasons used… It's worst. And I went so mad to see him threatening Freydis, but stopping his move, sword on his belly, like a promise he would claim her kid.

I felt bad for Aelfwynn during this episode, because I knew inside of my bones that she was innocent, she didn't know anything and she would die. Killed by Emma who was going too far, but also used by Godwyn. The first part of his plan was to gain her trust, but that part ? To make her feel guilty, like she has a debt to pay ? That's my theory for now. And I have another one about Elena, that we discovered during this episode, coming back with my first theory : I think the treasure to be made arrived in Constantinople, it's her.
