I made the reminder in each intro but let's do it here : I read the books a lot, but it was when I was a kid and I never read them again, not even before this final season, to avoid spoilers. I know it sounds weird but follow me here : I know the main events, the evolutions of the characters, but I don't remember some details, and I don't want to have a reminder, I want to discover them on screen. I remembered how disturbed I was by Marisa keeping Lyra like that, in my bones, but I forgot for example how the knife broke, so that's why you see me being so shocked.

I remember I hate that manipulative bit** but I'm also not a fan of Asriel. His cause is great and I want to see this war, but I won't trust a guy who killed a kid and torture angels. No, the end doesn't justify the means. Ask Roger. Lyra could ask him, soon. Loved how they introduced the Land of the Dead. This episode was full of action moments, with Baruch's death, Will meeting Mrs Coulter, Asriel preparing his war, Lyra escaping, the knife breaking etc. I can not wait to see the rest !
