You know that during the last episode I was sad that Maarva died without having her big brave move like she wanted, even if it made the show even more realistic. So to learn during this episode that in fact she prepared that speech to push them to fight, knowing it was too late for her but maybe not for them… Oh Maarva, you made me cry so much. I knew her funerals would be a Rebellion moment, that something would happen, but not like that. It was better.
People wanted to honor someone they loved and lost, they listened to their heart and found strength to fight, knowing it could end bad, just because they knew it was right, they wanted to be free. They are the Rebellion, the true one. And Luthen saw that, it was a good reminder for him. That's why, at the end, after Cassian made sure his loved ones are safe and when he offers him to join, Luthen knows he can trust Cassian.

I knew you were gonna cry. I would have been so disappointed if you didn't. What a BEAUTIFUL ending to a great story! I'd love to see you watch more French Resistance films. We'd all benefit from your thoughts about that time period, and I personally would love to your reaction(s) to France's Finest Hour. The story of Cassian Andor, in many ways, is the story of people rising up against Fascism. You can almost FEEL the danger. Yet it must be done. And when all hope is lost, remember this one thing: TRY.
