Why did I think this was going to be like... 80 pages, tops? Haha.

Any ways - Kate is always so much fun to draw. I love when she gets to go a little wild in the hair, like in the bottom panel.

As a technical note, I hope the whole "Kate is controlling the Don's gun-hand" is obvious. It's always a trick to get that sort of movement-shenanigan down... so... eh, it is what it is.

This page feels like it happened at a rather relevant time.
The older I get, the more I feel like Anna. There's no REAL revolutions... just people at the top, swapping back and forth. The rich get richer, the classes get further apart, etc etc.

But that's perhaps a rather pessimistic approach to things. I dunno. I suppose there's always exceptions - and perhaps an AI quantum computer and muscular super soldier will prove to have what it takes to turn a historical corner, haha.<...

Feb '25 Update (including V-day surprise and contest stuff!)

Heyo - just wanted to toss out a couple of notes and updates!

1) First up - hope everyone's received / enjoyed their comics from a few months ago :) That giveaway turned into kind of an anticlimactic debacle with the il-timed Postal strike and later, Xmas mail-clog and such... hoping to make the next one a lil' better

2) Speaking of giveaways - i'm working on a new one for this month! Just got to get some details together, but I should have a cool new prize thingy ready to roll ...

I've always had this idea of Kate casually flying through someone. Why? I dunno. But it's been in my mind for a while, and i'm glad I finally got to draw it (even though, as most things are, it's not quite what I had in my head)
My original idea was to have her cut her way through the big dude... leaving a Kate-shaped silhouette in him. But how would that work, exactly? I dunno. So this ...

Anything Alice can do, Kate can do better - including exceedingly racy pinups?

Kate returns to the comic today, so in honour of that I thought i'd spoil a very xrated pinup that I was going to save till next month.

Not that that means there's nothing in store for next month...
In fact, i've got a special lil' Vday something or other brewing for THAT particular month...

Kate really is just the most fun to draw. Criminally underused character - I really should have just made the whole comic "The adventures of Kate as she blasts everything apart and looks good doing it"

Don't worry, the next chapter of the comic is just 50 pages of Anna and Tara mud wrestling.
Everything's been secretly leading to this moment all along.

For real though - i'm super stoked that Kate is back in action. I have a weird / bad habit of writing long story arcs that leave out my fav characters. Lesson learned, blah blah
The important thing is - she's back, baby!

Side note : Pinups like these are so hard to 'name'. My computer is littered with folders called "Alice Boobs" and "Alice Boobs2" "Alice Topless" and it makes finding specific drawings notoriously difficult.
Not sure what that says about me... but... it sure makes things difficult to find, haha.
Just another burden I must stoically bear, I suppose.

Sure, there's a super soldier kicking his way through an army of holographic strippers - but the REAL focus is on some tit-for-tat between Anna and Tara, right?!
That's what everyone needs to see!

I know I say it often, but I really enjoy these conversation pages, haha. Shoulda just had a soap-opera comic with a bunch of characters arguing. Ah well, next time.

Pros : I get to draw Jay in a bunch of mini fight scenes.
Cons : Page is a little busy, in my opinion.

That being said : happy with the way this turned out, and the Anna/Alice/Tara dynamic is already fun to write.

Happy New Year '25

Is it happy New Year '24, or '25? I can never remember, so i'm going with '25.
Either way, Alice and Anna are celebrating with some champagne, fireworks, and nothing else untoward at all.

But aside from all of that, I hope you're all having - and had - a great year/New year.
I don't really make resolutions (like Alice, i'm too much of a contrarian for that stuff) BUT, my plan this year is to have a super big focus on my Patreon.
Hoping to ramp up what has already been a ramp...

Fun fact about myself : I don't tend to plan things out very well.
For Jay's return to action, i'd gone out of my way to design him an outfit and weapon (another fun fact : The gun is a 3d model I shoddily made up on some freeware for easy reference :D )
But it's always the little details I don't think about that creep up later : in this case, i'd intended Jay to get into some physical fight scenes, but he's also holding a gun- which has no strap, or way to hook onto his body for stora...

While I still hate drawing screens, I did enjoy drawing angry little Alice in the 2nd panel.
Silver lining, you know.

As a note, I was going to scrap this particular page (for no other reason than to save time) but my wife wanted it to exist, for some reason.

November '24 Pinup

In space, nobody has to worry about back problems.
Just felt like throwing that out there.

Side note, I meant to toss this up yesterday, but compleeetely forgot. SO, hopefully you survived the extra day without a pinup.

Secondly, I tried to do a perspective-ey thing with this pinup, and it was a huge fucking hassle, adding many hours of unneeded toil to the project that already took a weird amount of time, haha. One of those "started simple, turned into an adventure with x...

November Book sendout!

Heyo -
Just wanted to send a big thanks to everyone supporting me on here! You're all making my day, every day :)

That being said - i've got some books to send out. Going to randomize and draw some names today, and i'll get in touch with people who are getting some swag ^_^
