RICK AND MORTY 3X02 EXTENDED REACTION

EXTENDED REACTION PART, FIVE EPISODES OF ADVANCE, NO ADDS

Hello !

The writers are right to show the effects of the divorce on Jerry, with leaving this home, with his kids rejecting him (at first), Beth who wants to avoid it, moving to a bad neighborhood. But the wind mocking him and that final scene, it's just to destroy my heart, right ? Or to represent the bad viewers who enjoy to see Jerry being tortured : yes you want him to have nothing, and even less than that, like the wolf who ate his money to puke it and left. Bad, bad, really bad viewers.

All of the Mad Max story was fun to follow here, and a good way for Morty and Summer to explore their inside monsters and to deal with the divorce of their parents. Even if I'm still worried that Morty enjoyed killing people and then he had Rick directly pushing his hand to continue to drown one guy. The symbolic behind that is awful.

I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.

I always say it : in each story/situation, we have two sides and even if one can seem like "the bad one", "the good one" can be blamed also because he/she let the situation happen, accepted it etc. But for me, it can't be still an equal responsibility. Like you're not gonna say the bully/manipulator and the victim have the same responsibility ? Just to explain I understand people who would want for Jerry to respond. But it's not in his nature, how he is, he hates conflict. And in a way, he did respond, once, when it was truly too much for himself, by asking Beth to choose. It was a bad way to do it, but it's the only one he found. So yes, I understand people who can think that about Jerry, about the fact he's lame, he should stand more for himself, but I don't understand the ones who enjoy to see him in bad positions and are asking for more 🙈😂

At the end of the episode I felt like your look pierce through the screen and scolded me for laughing at Jerry's scene =P ... FYI I like Jerry, and I don't wish him anything bad, but definitely not my favorite ... I think as an spectator, we expect him to stand more for himself, such as: "I deserve better treatment because I always care for you, I'm good man, I love you", etc . But so far when he tries this, he blames most of it on Rick. For sure Rick does not help, but it's not the root of his problems. I think that's is why "original" Jerry recover Beth in the apocalyptic Earth =P, he said what he wanted and acted on it, and stop blaming Rick, just dealt with the situation at hand
