DRAWING 42 - ANDOR

First drawing about Andor, for sure I had to choose Cassian. And yes, I wanted to draw that version of him, from the three first episodes of the show. Because he has that beard, yes, but also because it was such a good introduction to this character. I truly loved a lot these episodes, how they were filmed and written, it was incredibly well done and thought. The writers put so much work behind it, like really, I was in admiration of it. Yes, during the episodes themselves, but also during the editing, believe me, when I saw more details.
For example, that drawing is coming from the ending scene of the episode 2. We have Cassian, ready to meet the buyer, walking straight towards the camera, with the music growing as he gets closer. The guy is determined, the guys wants to run away even if it means to take risks, to leave everything and everyone behind, because he doesn't care that much about it, he never involved himself with them. And with the music like that, the writers are showing that it's the beginning of a big and long journey. Believe me, I can describe A LOT of little scenes/moments like that during these three episodes.
