Hello !
I knew Riley couldn't be dead, like the guy had such a development to continue and we began the story with him so he's the main character, no ? And it made me laugh to have them thinking that he would kill himself. Haha, so fun. And at the end… It seems logical also to have that end, because his discussion about the religion is concluding that part of his story and he's making peace with the girl he killed : when the Priest doesn't feel any guilt about killing people, he does, and that's the difference, and he doesn't want to do it again, so he prefers to stop everything.
Going back to this discussion, which is more than half of the episode, it was cool for how it was written. Almost like a theater piece, with that dialogue on stage and Bev as the one interrupting them. I laughed so much with her being so frustrated about Riley being "one of the chosen". And I had such a conversation in review around the fact that they use quotes in the Bible to justify these killings, like people can use religious texts to explain awful stuff they do.
