Back in the pain with this episode. First, with that battle, that we want to avoid, like I was cheering for Uthred to come sooner, quicker, "don't rest during the night, hurry !" And we think that he can do it : even with Sigtryggr on the ice with his army, we know that our Uthred is not far away. Even with Aethelstan being so involved in the battle and me being afraid of losing him, I had hope, yes, Uthred can do it !
But Edward comes and sees all of his men being killed. For sure, it was the end : he was gonna win that fight and Sigtryggr was gonna pay for that. But Uthred doing it… It's breaking my heart. Because we can understand that it's a more honorable death for this dane warrior, but Uthred here kills his daughter's love and the king of the danes. His family and his people.
