As a lifelong comic, illustration, and all-around art nerd…it was such a huge thrill to see our little genre represented by talent of Dave’s magnitude.
Hope you all get a nerdy thrill out of revisiting this as well.
I’ve had a few people over the years ask me if this is a photo-manipulation…and HECK NO…EVERY ELEMENT OF THIS HAS BEEN DRAWN BY HAND. WELL, BY MOUSE TECHNICALLY…BUT STILL! LOOK AT THOSE BOOTS! LOOK AT THOSE FEET! THAT’S SOME HIGH-QUALITY TICKLE TORTURE RIGHT THERE!

Absolutely amazing to work with. And I feel ya on those feet. LOOK AT THOSE SOFT SOLES! I CAN ALMOST REACH OUT TO TICKLE THE SCREEN!!!!!! Although...ahem...I would never do that. *reaches out to tickle the screen* LOL.
