September 8, 2006. That’s damn near fourteen years ago. It’s hard to even fathom just how much the world has changed since then, and that’s not even taking into account a global pandemic. It’s also just a little bit weird because that date falls one day after my birthday, which, given the reasoning upon which I am writing this, is a touch ironic because of what came after, how seminal it truly was. See, Bandito’s TMF account was still an infant at the time, and he was just starting to post little doodles on the art forum. And they were good. Expressive. Fun. There was a sexy bite to his work, alongside the scenarios, that I enjoyed. That all changed on this date, when he released the first part of what would become a two-part little diddy he drew up called ‘Naughty Angel – Devilish Tickles’. This...release...it instantly grabbed hold of my attention unlike anything Bandito had done before. The first page was the ultimate, and I mean ULTIMATE in cock teases, with this deliciously buxom and ultra-scantily clad black-haired devil and this nutty blonde angel, with the devil trapped and unable to escape, all while she had verbal threats of what was to come levied upon her. You could practically feel her shudders jumping off the page as the implication of tickling was left to linger in the air. And just as the angel’s wispy feathered fingers were about to descend...we were left to wait for what was to come. I couldn’t wait. I was dying to see what happened next. I NEEDED it. The set up felt so glorious and the characters just so...sexy...fun...unique?...I don’t know, but I had to comment, demanding the next part that instant...in a joking manner of course. Those would be the first real interactions I had with Bandito, and they definitely weren’t the best. They were quite thirsty, however! About a week after the release of the first page, Bandito released the second, and boy oh freaking boy, was it absolutely amazing. Things that would become hallmarks of his, the tickle stripping of the victim, the physicality and chemistry oozing off the page/screen, the amazing expressions, the delicious vibrancy of movement, the impossible gravity defying anatomy that I adore, and at the core of it all, was this poor Devil’s top coming down, her panties falling to her knees, and a final panel where her guarded nipples finally faced the kiss of their angelic tormentor’s feathers, and she was stuck. There was no escape. No way to get away. There were such threats of what was to come. The Devil’s hysteria was perfectly captured, just as well as her flawless body, and she would have to endure. This page, these two pages, these characters...they stuck with me from that day on. What could be two simple throw away characters, a fun little experiment, a tasty little image, it just always hovered on the periphery for me in my tickle addled and thirsty mind, every few months bursting back to the forefront to demand my attention. It was a two parter that cemented my fandom of Bandito, which would eventually build to individual correspondence a year or so later in the midst of the original release of Tickling in Space. In a way, Naughty Angel Devilish Tickles very much changed my trajectory and fandom within in the tickling genre, and has led so much that I can’t even get into. Now, Bandito has moved on and done a lot of different things, created universes and characters, and I’d talk with him indepth about them. The Dusty’s. The Tickling in Space’s. Vamp Records. The criminally underappreciated Foul Play and my need to see Alice Moore tickle tortured until she’s basically lobotomized. So damn many. Yet every so often, I would tell him I wanted to see more of that Devil, of that Angel. I wanted to see just how much further things had progressed. How many eons of tickle torture awaited. I wanted to see all the naughty and horrifically ticklish details. And now...damn near fourteen years later, he comes through. A call back for the ages. One of the most amazing, brutal, sexy, hysterical, and delicious comics Bandito has ever been a part of, has ever drawn. Naughty Angel Ticklish Devil is here, and it’s absolutely killer must buy. How is that for intro? For a showcase of intrigue and importance? Because for me, this release feels fantastic, like the perfect feast of fan service, fun, and hot tickling action you’d expect from the best creative mind and artist going. Of course, that’s all my opinion, but as someone who has followed Bandito’s work extensively for over a decade, this release here is yet another love letter to his fans, as well as fans in general of tickling and pure sexiness, that makes it seminal and amazing. And I am going to layer the superlatives on very well, and also because I feel that people out there should buy this, that this release is so worth it, and because, quite frankly, quite selfishly, I WANT MORE. So let’s go dig in with a deep dive over this awesome comic! I mean, you could go off of the cover and deem this as a total must buy. First impressions are vital in any kind of form of media, whether it is the cover for a comic, or the first paragraph of a novel. There has to be something of a hook there, a reason to grab hold of the audience and say to them “I am offering you a contract, this is what I am selling, I am going to do my damnedest to intrigue you and we will go from here”. This is vital air space, especially in regards to such a visual medium as illustrative work and comics. With the cover here, let’s just say it grabs you right by the pants and is there to lead you forward, without a stitch of shame, celebrating what it is. I have loved a lot of Bandito’s covers because he directs anticipatory scenes so well, because they come loaded with tasty tidbits that have you begging for more, to see what is inside. This is a carry over from those early posting on the TMF days, where the building of anticipation could be established through sheer brute force of time and absence of continuation. Me? I HATE waiting for something I want right now. However, these covers he directs, they do so in a much more elegant manner. Often times, they are just the best kind of pin up art in the genre. When he has his fingers on the pens, though, oh boy. He coaxes pure perfection out of his mind’s eye. Whether it is smallish details, whether it’s just the raw physicality of tickling or the fun silliness he puts throughout his work, it all comes out. Here, we get the cute chibi style faces at the top of the cover, the Angel and her feathered fingers teasing along the roundness of the Devil’s face. These sorts of designs come up a few times in the comic, and I find them to be adorable! But we’re not here for adorable, surely? Well, surely! But the main illustration on the cover, it just tells you all you need to know. There is no hiding the compromised nature of our Devil; she’s topless, her hypersensitive chest and swollen nipples on full display, being tortured so delicately by one of our blonde Angels, all as another works over her soles. And in just saying those things, it doesn’t carry across just how jaw droppingly stunning this work is here. Where some might call into question anatomic reality, the hallmark and perhaps most important aspect within art such as being expressed in the genre of tickling is expressiveness. As a ler, I view scenes in context of story, with movement, sensation, all of those things playing critical roles. The skin, the nerve endings, they are what we read and decipher, what we fill ourselves upon. Aspects of tickling perfectly crystalized as moments. And, as a ler, I think about the psychological aspects involved as well; for lees and lers, I think there is an aspect where we focus on a part of someone, and wish for it to provide us with more area to tickle/be tickled, more area to be exploited, and that in the midst of a scene, we think of these parts of ourselves as being the size of battleships, totally at the mercy of someone, and there’s just no way to hide it. The Devil’s breasts, and especially her nipples, really hammer home that element to me. It’s speaking to this incredible build up, to this amazing swell, and the idea that a single stroke over such perfect and helpless places...it makes my mouth dry. It’s so utterly rich and perfect. Then I think about the bondage here, the sheen of the gold, the Devil grabbing at her hair, and I notice the crimson outline of her eyebrows and think “damn, I didn’t notice that before, nice touch given origin”, and that wide open guffawing mouth and the spittle flying out. She’s losing her mind! And why wouldn’t she? After all, her soles are utterly helpless, her toes locked in bindings to make her so utterly helpless! I look at this and it makes me think of expression, and what is being allowed by the Devil to convey her torture. The golden binding on her arm keeps her arm in place, but given what she is suffering, her hand is going for her own head, expressing movement her tortured soles are being denied. And as far as soles go, holy hot damn! To go along everything, we have the perspective shown with her feet as these tasty, wrinkled, utterly flawless canvasses to be destroyed. The wrinkling and skin tones here are exquisite, as is the soft feathering our bottom Angel is giving here. And this is akin to the soft stuff...and this is the Devil’s reaction. If this is just a taste, she’s a goner! Well, technically, she already is a goner…so... Starting at page one, we get our simple set up; Devil is decked out in armor, looks to raise a little Hell. Her armor makes her invincible! But not really. The top middle panel features the chibis, this time more fully realized. I love these! The Devil relishes the chaos she causes, raining hellfire and brimstone down on cute Angels who seem like they pass out, and one who has a big fire hit her tush. My first thought with these was that they would make for amazing plushy doll pillows you could have in your home, they are just so evocative of that. At the same time, it does a great job in conveying some reasoning for why the Devil needs punished further on, and in so doing, has a touch of uniqueness and fun. All told, you don’t need a lot of story to be told here. However, within a few frames, you get your reason to want to see the Devil get wrecked. Seeing her dismay as her Brimstone armor literally melts away, as her body is displayed, and as our original Angel from the first set of illustration takes great pleasure in taunting her for being so silly as to think her armor was up to muster...yum! And just like that, we are at the point where the Devil is already stripped down to her bottoms, which don’t even contain her helplessly little clitty. I love the sharp points to the Devil’s eyebrows as she hollows in laughter, as the Halo bondage she is put in shimmers and holds her underarms exposed. Again, this is soft touches and they are causing great reactions! You can tell the original Angel by the beauty mark on the side of her face too…which is a great way make her stand out. The underarm attack at the top of the second page is amazing, with the Devil grabbing at her head with her free hands, all as these golden binds hold her arms upright. This page is all underarm tickling, and it’s done really well, I’d say. There is a plushness to the Devil’s underarms, a smoothness to the feathered fingers as they glide effortlessly in her hollows. Given their past, our lead Angel is already taking charge, threatening her to confess her shameful submissive ticklish secrets or else she will never find peace from their tickles. And jesus...this hits home so hard on the middle bottom panel, with the Devil’s eyes rolling and her tongue out wide, tears flowing freely. And then it dawns on me...I don’t know if Bandito has ever drawn such a helplessly ticklish victim before. The notion nearly makes me faint. This...this is bad. Bad for her. Not bad for us. The total opposite. I even like the shading on the Devil’s breasts, the tone. There is a rising redness and it’s just the start! I’m not going to lie...holy shit page 3. The tummy and belly button tickling here. Holy shit! The top left panel here is a killer, with our lead Angel feathering the Devil’s belly button. But it is the angle, the expressiveness of it all, the verbal teasing, the literal threats of having an eternity to break this poor Devil, and it continues with those feathers swabbing inside, the Devil screaming how much she hates angels, her begging, oh god her begging! Her nipples! Her delicious breasts. And oh my god, her clit just sitting there, displayed, I just, I find some real gold in the two panels on the left side as a fan of the physical tickling genre and with just how expressive Bandito is here. The begging here takes such a delicious flair for the desperate that it makes me bite my lip. And if that isn’t enough, we move lower. To the feet. The text ‘About an eon and a half later’ caught me offguard but reminded me so much of those conversations I had with Bandito about how this torture could last forever, and that I wondered what the Devil’s mental state might be at such a point. I will also say that, sometimes, Bandito draws an illustration or a panel that just hits me between the eyes with his characters that make them look so gorgeous. There is a specific scene done in the latest Vamp Records that I felt was god tier drawing, making Val look like the most gorgeous goth punk to ever exist. Here, in the top left panel, I am caught with how gorgeous he has made the Devil in her natural state. I can’t express this well enough, how much I love this panel. And to have it accompany her attempts to have her feet not tickled, that she will admit to what the Angel wants her to, just so she will stop, oh my word. Holy shit this had me writhing in agony! It’s like the quiet before this epic storm takes charge, and I fell deep within it! Taunting her by calling her feet hooves is a great touch too! But then we get to the bottom panel, the stocks, and toe bondage! Exquisite toe bondage! One foot, so helpless, the other being stripped. The ruddiness! The expressiveness of her toes! This here…it absolutely kills me! It continues to the next page, with her clitty vibrating, her nipples rock hard, and every toe trapped. It’s like I remember in No Mercy part one, when the Gomez sisters bind every toe of Yenny at attack her spot. This is so reminiscent of that. The threats about her nipples, the volley of hysteria, the feathering between her toes, oh my god! And then, the confession. They break her with foot tickling and verbal threats. And awwww, you almost feel bad for the Devil on the bottom panel of page six...but I don’t. Not with the naughty tickles coming! Okay, even going back through this to review it is so damn hard! The perspective at the top of page seven, with her nipples finally tickled, and the growing of her clit, all as she is taunted with further bondage, with them fully exposing her… Excuse me...I’m at page eight and this is…this is too much... Picking this up some time later wasn’t exactly my intention, but it is what I ended up doing...in big part because I think the crescendo of this comic is freaking incredible and I wanted to give it the intensity, energy, and passion it deserved. It also leaves for perspective to have simmered a fair bit, though almost immediately we’re right back to eighty-eight miles per hour from the very onset. The first three panels at the top of page eight are a great illustration of how hot things can be, yet at the same time just how inventive and silly. Like, who would have EVER anthropomorphized a pair of freaking panties in a tickling comic?! Bandito, that’s freaking who! Such a skimpy pair of panties is given such a great bit of flair and character here, with the emoting as those feathered fingers tease its gusset. On the Devil, you can see the sweat falling, the dam bursting in her reactions to the touch, and finally, and evocatively, her clit growing harder and harder. The dam breaks with a single feather caress inside, and for whatever reason, the way the dialogue hits with the Devil’s laughter just has my mind racing in the best way! The main pin up illustration in the middle of the page is pure Bandito goodness, with the over the top body dimensions adding such ample places to grope, caress, and tickle, all while showcasing the raw physicality of the taking of the Devil. I notice the golden binds on her tail, on her limbs, and she is twisting, contorting, dripping with sweat, her tongue is out, tears flowing, and her tormentors are ratcheting up their verbal destruction in utterly destructive volleys. They aren’t wrong; her mouth says no, but her body is saying yes! Her panties pulled away, the Devil is completely helpless to the tickles bombarding her, and the way they tease that pussy...and its delectable wetness…great god damn! And speaking of which, if there is anything I should have expected, it’s for some kind of retort from the Angels when the Devil hysterically howls OH MY GAWD, like I swear that’s a missed opportunity! ;) The next page, opening with ‘Several Eons Later’...the play on time and the various destroyed states of the Devil really make things hard to focus on. It leaves my mind wondering to the space in that time, just how and what transpired, and it creates this lovely soup for my imagination to devour. And to have the Devil screaming that she can’t take any more, all as her eyes are rolling back, as she grabs at her own hair, as her nipples are feathered and her soles are ravaged and even the cheeks of her butt are assaulted, as they begin tying a halo with that tail of hers, and the effects and the hysteria, and then...and then you get the line about giving her a make over, to make her their ticklish toy for all eternity...jesus! And the implication being that she’s been tickle denied this entire time...sorry...I might just freaking faint! And then, BANG! The explosion toe end all explosions! As above, so below. Ying and yang here, and it’s practically literal in the composition of this page, and the reason why I like this, the reason I love the transition, love the way things are played with here, is because it makes the intent of the Devil’s punishment all the more powerful, especially when you see what happens next. I love the up close shots of the clit tickling, the orgasms, all of that, and that’s no shock. What I equally love is just the raw physicality and the franticness of her positioning, her contorting, all in her binds, it’s one of the best things Bandito does time and time again. The next page is just this amped up crescendo to everything that transpired. The Devil is now all dolled up like an Angel, which she surely hates and is embarrassed by, and the way her body is literally folding as she is assaulted from all angles, and as she has the mother of all ticklegasms, all as she cries out that she hates being tickled, only to be forced to admit she actually loves it by her primary tormentor, by that one Original Angel, and then, smack dab, the implications of being taken to such lengths, oh my word, so very evil! Are we sure this Angel shouldn’t be dancing her way down below too? I mean, she had all intent to have the Devil get all dressed like an Angel right before sending her back down to Hell. And in doing so...our poor poor Devil is about to face another welcoming party...I do like the silliness in the dialogue in the last panel too, the “Gosh, Devil’s are complicated” was a great line. I love the juxtaposition from the beginning of the comic on this last page. And the chibi style plushie characters is freaking wonderful too, and I really like how it makes you go all “well shit, it’s all about perspective in who is getting attacked, no?” Not that the Devil is attacking, she’s just falling her way back home...not that anyone there seems to notice that she’s one of them. Oh yeah, that’s right, now our poor Devil is getting absolutely destroyed by her own kind, in binds and chains with fire, and all these damn Devil’s are so cute, I actually really adore them all, honestly, and the one nipple tickling with her long tongue, and the demand to confess…a century of tickle torture…and squirting hot ticklegasms and just this amazingly delicious body convulsing in total hysteria as if utterly broken, what a way to end this comic, what a damn way to end it! Though now I have a bit of a crush on this Devil, and a little one developing on the very minor one with her hair in a ponytail who is doing a very not minor job feathering the Devil’s poor defenseless nethers. In the end, what more can be said about this absolute killer and awesome release? I think if you’re a fan of Bandito, this is a must own. This comic is just another example of his illustrative and emotive skills really being a total powerhouse, getting better and better and aging like the finest of wines. There’s some fun touches and details to notice in the images too, which help tell layers of physical story that I think has a hard time being caught in the right dosage in a lot of releases, but here, it works wonderful. I’d be remiss not to say that this felt like a long time passion project, or even an ode to a certain subset of fans who would badger on and on about doing more with these characters, to revisit this. I’m one of those people. For so long, a release like this has been a desire of mine to see come to fruition, and to see it do so in such a spectacular manner is just the best sort of treat imaginable. There is a buffet of various tickling to really sink your teeth into, and I really love how Bandito manages to express physical space and intensity in the small details, like curling toes, or what a character is doing with their hands, or how they fight with their bondage. I would recommend this comic to anyone without hesitation, as I think it really just gets to the very heart and nature of everything great, funny, and amazing within this medium. It’s unabashedly hot, and I’ll be honest, that definitely takes this release (heh) to the next level for me, as any sort of intent toward sexual titillation and expression of orgasm feels a little flatter if it comes as just a dialogue cry from a character nearing the end of a comic...but it also isn’t answered by copious amounts of giggle goo, as it were; what matters is the way it takes hold, how the panels and the physical expression of storytelling convey this crescendo. And I say this because, I mean, hypothetically, it should be easy to satisfy me with just having pussy tickles and lots of cum. But it isn’t. I notice its absence in comics as the main characters cry out in contentment, but I also notice the other nuances that lack. If you pick up this comic, you will see the very embodiment of how to really do ticklegasms; in those illustrations where the Devil is leaking cum, or cumming from tickling, it’s not just a static position, a laughing face. There’s freneticness. Those illustrations are a plate at a Michelin Star restaurant. Yeah, the orgasm is the entrée. But there is so much there. What’s going on with her eyes? Her mouth? Is her tongue hanging out? Tears? Drool? When I look down, how do I see her body manifesting the reactions? There’s no staticness...the Devil is ALIVE with movement, her body flailing as best as it can in impossible bondage, with every milky wrinkle on her soles and her toes curling and the way her back bows and just everything...it’s every thing and every bit making a meal, and when I read these comics, when I look at illustrations, even as I myself am about to lose it, my eyes are scanning out the various details, looking, seeking, until that unknown trigger point hits be it the hysteria in her face or the explosion of cum from her nethers, until that hits. And having such succulent details is what makes me come back to a comic over and over and over again. I think this release here is quite legendary. It’s incredible. If you haven’t bought it yet, you definitely should. Only the highest level endorsement here!
