Progress update
Added 2018-04-14 12:40:25 +0000 UTCI just met our coder recently (he works part-time so we could only meet sometimes) and got some news after I did the game test.
- Most important, about releasing day, is now has to be delayed again, he seemed very stressed after we found out some critical bugs that might affected other things alot.
- Secondly, alot of minor details weren't good enough (mostly because I'm a perfectionist) so he had to work over. Timing is very important to make the conversation and atmosphere to be natural, this was a hard part.
- Lastly, some dificulties of how the new game engine works on existing events, it does better but would require more time to get the same thing done.
I was surprised but all of them were understandable, he's still new into this kind of game. I know things would be tough at early stage but will be easier when the system is completely built. I hope you all will understand this.
Right now I'm working on v0.5 CGs while he's working on v0.4, so I want to know if you all want to play v0.4 first or wait until we're finished with v0.5?

New version will require you to start over, because it has different engine :)

2018-04-18 02:46:29 +0000 UTCDon't worry about it so much. Your only mistake so far is that you're trying to give a precise launch date. All software have delays so try to give yourself some more time than what you think it will take. Rushing will only cause problems, if not now, then in the future. Also, I broke my hand so I can wait :D
2018-04-15 19:20:14 +0000 UTCIt's embarrassing for us no matter what, we set the deadline (TWICE) but didn't make it in time, it bothers me alot.
2018-04-15 02:04:45 +0000 UTCAll projects have delays, it is impossible to predict contingencies, especially when it includes so many changes. Who complains does it because they have no idea of the work involved. That should never be a reason for us to stop supporting. We know that what will come will make it worth the wait. Thank you.

2018-04-15 01:27:37 +0000 UTCSeconded. Even if you don't release it, an interim working version will help you prevent cascading bugs from old, unchecked content.

2018-04-14 21:47:27 +0000 UTCI prefer to wait longer for beefier updates, so 0.5.

2018-04-14 21:46:24 +0000 UTCI'm an engineer (like 7 years working), so... I would say that you probably should make a 0.4 version even if you don't release to us. Everything takes longer than you think it will, so you can't keep adding stuff or you'll never ship!

2018-04-14 17:29:58 +0000 UTCThanks for that :) My coder was working in mobile game studio, he's not used to H-RPG but he's learning from mistakes.
2018-04-14 14:40:15 +0000 UTCI think so, at least y'all will have more new contents to play with.
2018-04-14 14:38:50 +0000 UTCsorry ;{
2018-04-14 14:37:55 +0000 UTCmake mistakes gives experience, it is good that this happens because in the future the probability that it will happen again is lower due to the experience gained. Release 0.5 and good lucky with the game

2018-04-14 14:24:14 +0000 UTCPersonally I will take the longer wait for more content. As someone who has done programming its understandable that it takes more time in the early stages. Personal experience has taught me its better to get things mapped out to accommodate future ideas then it is trying to alter things down the road. A bit more time now will save so much time and effort down the road. That being said your artwork will certainly make the wait more bearable. Specifically more of that amazing butt.

2018-04-14 14:04:47 +0000 UTCi think if you can release 0.5 ver. at the middle of the may - better wait until game done on new engine and with new content.
