A shortish update, because this is my second post of the day.

Earlier today I posted my behind-scenes thoughts on "The Succubus in Mr Herbert's Summer House".

It took me longer (and a lot more words) than I was expecting, but I finally finished the story. That was posted here on Friday (it should be two posts down from this one). While it's good to get new stories out, the longer ones tend to come with productivity slowdowns. I really should be overlapping other projects to get around that problem.

Since then I've been bouncing between the original Halloween story I planned to write and getting back to the overdue snake girl scenarios for House of Hellish Harlots. The plan for next week is work on both and see which one flows. So far I've been making some progress on "The Ladies of <nametobeaddedlater>", the original story I planned to be the Halloween entry. If I finish it before the competition deadline, I'll post it. If I find I get stuck like I did on "The Succubus in Mr Herbert's Summer House", I'll be a bit more ruthless in putting it aside and working on something else.
