Ideas File - Summer Festivals
Added 2019-07-01 17:07:16 +0000 UTCSeems like summer has finally arrived to the UK, as in it's hot and the pollen count is so high I feel like I have a miniature slime-drooling alien stuffed up each nostril. The Glastonbury music festival was just last weekend and wasn't the traditional soggy mud bath. I wasn't there. Heavy metal is more my jam, so I was at the Download festival a couple of weeks earlier. That was a soggy mud bath. It did give me a couple of summer-y ideas (by UK standards, if the UK was infested with sex-crazed demonic abominations) for stories.
The first was more of an image. I imagined a protagonist at a rock festival like Download watching an act from afar while sitting in one of those folding chairs. They briefly nod off (because of sun, beer, and/or general tiredness). It is only brief, maybe closing their eyes for less than a minute. Then, when they open them, the sky has gone dark and wrong and everybody – the crowd, the bands, the vendors – is just a skeleton. In the brief moment the protagonist has their eyes closed, the skin and flesh was blasted away from everyone and it's happened so fast the skeletons are frozen in whatever pose the person was doing before this eldritch catastrophe hit.
I thought that was a strong image – waking up to see the crowd replaced by rank after rank of bleached skeletons all watching skeletons of a band standing motionless on stage with their guitars still hanging around their necks. That would make an appropriately weird and eerie start to a novel, having our main character walk through these crowds of skeletons as each slowly collapses without the rest of the body to hold them together.
It feels like a nice start to a "weird" story (or even novel). It asks the classic question of "What the hell happened here?" with an appropriately macabre opening scene.
(I was thinking maybe some kind of demon plane overlay – possibly triggered by a ritual carried out by a black metal band that's a little too avant-garde.)
It's also not really my usual stuff, so I have no idea how to spin it out or even throw in the dollops of weird kinky demon sex you all love and enjoy. Maybe have the protagonist encounter some weird and wonderful (and sexy!) demon girls during his adventures in this strange new hellscape? I have no idea, to be honest. Maybe I'll just file it away for later, for when I need an excuse to throw someone into a sexy new demon world. I loved the image though. It felt like a strong scene to start a book with.
The second idea is back on more familiar territory.
"The succubus sex tent at the sodden rock festival."
Even sounds like a Rob Zombie song title (who was surprisingly awesome live, even if I prefer his old stuff and hate that new "fuckin' in a UFO" song).
This one's a straightforward succubus story. Three smoking hot rock chicks wearing not much at all lure the protagonist to their tent during a downpour. The tent isn't in the regular camping spot and looks like a miniature big top. Inside is nothing but a giant circular inflatable mattress. Once the protagonist is inside, the rock chicks zip up the entrance and reveal their true nature as succubi. Proceedings start with one swooping the protagonist up and divebombing him right into the centre of the inflatable mattress (similar to what Rosa does to Phil near the end of "Succubus Summoning 101"). Then the other two join in for a long three-on-one sex scene where our (un)lucky protagonist gets their brains comprehensibly fucked out.
Nothing fancy. Just your bog-standard succubus sex story. To be honest, I feel like it might do me some good to work on a few simple ideas until I get my mojo back.
Literotica usually has a summer-themed contest around this time of year. I'm thinking this might be a good idea for that (if I can get it done in time!) and it's about time I posted something up on Literotica again (even if I'll likely get screamed at for it not being a "Succubus Summoning 301" chapter).
As for work actually in progress, I do have a short story getting close to completion. I was going to put a post up offering protagonist naming rights, but I felt like that would be too much of a "hey, don't go away, I'm still alive!" post if I put it out before the end of the month. I also don't want to repeat what happened with the carnivorous plant girl story where everything ground to a halt and I got stuck in a rut trying to force myself to get the thing finished.
The new one is tentatively named "The Good, the Bad, and the Monstrously Beautiful". I still have a gratuitous sex scene to write for the first draft. Once I get a good chunk of the second draft done, I'll be more confident this will reach completion and I'll put up a post giving patrons a chance to name the (un)lucky main character. Keep an eye out for that in the next week or so!

Unknown is usually best for these things - as long as everything else doesn't fall into the trap of trying to be too literary and opaque (a lot of modern horror screws this up, but gets away with it because it's a fairly effective psychological trick. Unfortunately, once you're aware of that trick those stories end up looking very shallow and lightweight). Not sure what angle I'd take. Botched ritual by a band would be the obvious start. I'd likely keep why the protagonist wasn't included hidden for as long as possible - mainly because there are so many angles and twists that could go in - he's a demon, he was the only one sucked in and the skeleton's are shadows of everyone else, a succubi took a fancy to him and shielded him (hmm, I like this one. Now that might be getting into my sort of territory...)

2019-07-08 15:56:35 +0000 UTCmaybe with the first scenario it could be the band was trying to summon demons by offering the crowd as a sacrifice but didn't get it quite right and they too had their energy absorbed to open the gate to the demon world(?). As for how our MC avoided it i'm not sure, maybe leave it unknown or even have it that he had a necklace passed down in his family that somehow kept him protected( original, i know LUL). In come our succibi through the summoned portal and notice our MC who survived...

2019-07-03 14:43:00 +0000 UTCUnderstood, thanks for the info! I can't wait to see what all you come up with. obviously it's up to you, but it would be awesome if the giantess had some kind of special blowjob skills :)

2019-07-02 00:05:46 +0000 UTCI was thinking about that and realized the multi-succubus stories (mostly the Phil chapters) tended to have good ends. Hmm, I think these will have to be really evil rock chick succubi...

2019-07-02 00:00:14 +0000 UTCStill thinking up scenarios and how to setup the main hub bar area. Plan is to run out a snake girl encounter as proof of concept and then start on the hub area. That will likely be a long term project, so I wanted to put out a new short story (or chapter) each month for patrons and then switch back to working on the CYOA once I had a deliverable for that month. The short stories are running a little longer and slower than planned, which has put it back a little. It's mainly down to me shaking off some bad habits and getting back to the sort of productivity I had a few years back (I'm still getting the ideas at the same pace, so unlikely to run out of things to write about anytime soon!). As for giantess, I'll see what I can do. It's outside my normal fetish likes, but I might be able to play around with some of the usual unbirth scenes. Although given that it's me, the giantess might end up being a bit freaky and H-space-y.

2019-07-01 21:53:10 +0000 UTCAre you still going to do anything with "The House Of Hellish Harlots"? Im very curious to see what would happen next :) or possibly anything with giantess?
