Honestly, finding people that actually "look alike" is quite hard, especially if the age has to be right. Plus, I don't know if every actor would like to play their parents younger "self"... As if they are just copying what their parents did or somehow taking ownership of it... At least that is what I would think and I am not sure I would like it.

I love how invested you are with Star Wars, I really hope you watch Obi-Wan series and see more of this story, The reason you didn't get the text scroll is technically episode 3.5, short story lol.

Andor is defo worth a watch probably not even as a stream, but it's just a great 'premium HBO type' show. It's very grounded and adds so much weight and flavour to Star Wars basically extension of what you said about rogue one. Its just great and happens to be in the Star Wars universe vs front and centre 'Star Wars'

The women who was talking to Leia's dad (Bail Organa is his name) was Mon Mothma. And the line you're thinking of when she says "many Bothans died to bring us this information" was actually from Return of the Jedi (the Bothans were a group of spies that found the information regarding the second Death Star). Easy to confuse though because essentially it's the same idea: many rebels died to make sure they could destroy both Death Stars. Man, I'm a nerd, lol. I wish you did book reactions because I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the Zahn trilogy of books (which in my humble opinion are better than 7, 8, and 9).

Man, this reaction was so satisfying - I think Rogue One is right up there with the original trilogy - I rank it right behind Empire. It is far and away the best of the "new" Star Wars movies. New, compelling characters that tell the brutal story behind the rebellion that led to Episode IV. I give them a past for the awkward CGI Tarkin and Leia because it was the best they could do, but it's such a great (and important) story. --Crystal

"Death Troopers" (the ones in Black) sound different because they are special forces. Their inhaler is also a voice encrypter to make outside audio scrambled, whilst transmitting the correct speech to their comrades. To the public it sounds as what we hear - and to them it sounds crystal clear.

You called out people for harsh criticisms and jaded reviews and I would say please listen to that advice and go and enjoy 7, 8, and 9. Yes there's two different directors and there's some continuity issues with that but as true as any fan of the Star Wars franchise and world building, you owe it to yourself to watch them. I love Rogue One, Episode 3, and Episode 5, but 7 and 9 are right after those. The shows are all great too and I would say Andor, Obi-Wan, Mando, and even Boba Fett are fun.

The troopers in all black armor are typically referred to as "Death Troopers", they're like a special forces, higher quality, higher trained Stormtrooper. Also yes, regular people and species and worlds everywhere believe in the Force, as a religion of sorts, even if they can't wield it or manipulate it like Force-sensitives can (Jedi/Sith, and other Force-sensitives).

DoomGummy

He is the Andor show.

Jason Baerncopf

That was the second death star, not the first. They're two different ones. She said many Bothans died to get us this information, Bothan is a species.

DoomGummy

It was actually episode six when she said about people dying to get the death star information.
