Loved the reaction. This movie is so special to me. I grew up in Iowa, went to college in the town where many scenes were shot and have been to the field several times to play catch, walk out into the corn, etc. During weekends the U of I baseball team would dress up in old Uniforms and walk out of the corn to play pick up games with fans that were there. Most men will cry at the end as Ray plays catch with his Dad. What I wouldn’t give to play catch with my Grandpa and Dad again. The magic of this movie is so real and the notion of making your dreams come true and that dreams can change like they did for Doc is amazing. Thanks again for reacting. Oh, and Curahee!

In 2021 & 2022 Major League Baseball held a Field of Dreams game on the property. The created a field also in the corn but up to standards for seating & turf safe for players. They plan to play again in 2026. Kevin Costner (my father's fraternity brother) did an intro/documentary of his return to the field for this game. It's somewhere on YouTube I'm sure. Loved this reaction. ❤️⚾️🧢
