Good questions. Still too early to know, I guess. It's not even clear what the governing intelligence of the tower is. Could be some kind of AI, more or less intelligent, could be some non human being, could in theory even be more powerful humans. Will also be interesting to find out what the towers are. Maybe they have always been there and humans stumbled upon them while colonizing a new world? Or maybe they are a last refuge against the void ancestors of the current population created themselves? We'll see I hope :)

First tower is to learn the ropes and prove that you are worth investing in, second tower is when the tower invests in turning you into an anti-void weapon (which is too expensive to do for everyone)? But what’s the point of resetting your soulspace or separating you from your team? To pull up other climbers and support the other towers?
