Showing You My FullMetal Alchemist Collection! 99% of it is FMA 2003 ⚙️ 🧪 ❤️

It's finally time to show you all my FullMetal Alchemist collection! :D Can you tell I was nervous? lol. When I'm handling things I know I can't replace my heart instantly races xD But even so, I had a lot of fun showing you all my things! I wish I could have spent more time flipping through more of the art books but that probably would have taken 1-2 hours and my camera isn't going to let me do that ; w ;

I hope you enjoy and let me know what your favorite thing was! ✨

I’m glad you enjoyed it Succotash and thanks for watching! :D It was a long time coming so I’m happy I finally showed you all my collection. I have so many other things I want to show you guys too though. I promise they won’t take as long to make now that I have my own place again haha! XD Hey, as for time, don’t let it get to you! I promise you and many others are still young and have plenty of time left. I think social media puts a lot of pressure on people but it’s all silly. Just enjoy life! And this is coming from someone who feels much better in their 30s than they ever did in their 20s :P No, not the Blue Exorcist stuff- I loved that series too! 😭 I’m sorry your sister had to go through that. Funny enough my mom actually didn’t mind that anime. I remember showing her the first episode years ago so I don’t know with her lol. She was ok with some things but not others haha! 😆

I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my collection Kench, thank you! :D I forgot to mention it but I did have another keychain like it at one point. I think I gave it to a friend or cousin but kept the one I liked better hehe :P My mom and I get along a lot better now but we definitely butted heads a lot when I was younger. She’s a very religious person and many of the things I enjoy clash with that, or at least that’s how she saw it. She hasn’t said it since she’s tsundere as hell but I think she regrets it. She’s even rebought me some manga that got damaged during my move so I thought that was really sweet! She definitely didn’t have to do that so it meant a lot ❤️ I’d love to get a nice Edward figurine one day and set it all up on a shelf, I think that would be really cool! :D

It’s finally here! I’ve voted for this on so many polls and it kept getting out-voted lol, I was always excited for this one because I remember you talking about how important the series was to you and how it was a big part of your art journey Oh man that DS cart was so nostalgic! The DS was my first console and I have so many memories of playing it as a kid. I actually miss when games had physical tutorials in a little booklet in the box. Also 2005 was not 20 years ago. That…that just can’t be. No I do not like that at all haha, I’m still not processing that 2015 was a decade ago Loved the vibe of this video, like a bud showing off their stuff, super cozy despite your understandable nervousness! Also your mom throwing away your stuff because she thought you were getting going down an evil path was very like what happened with my sister, except instead of vampire smut it was Blue Exorcist. My sister was writing notes and stuff about Satan, and Lucifer, and Gehenna and all that. So yeah, my mom about had a panic attack and threw away anything related to Blue Exorcist that my sister owned

Secular Succotash

So many small cool things in there that I loved seeing! Just as much as the pieces themselves, though, I love seeing how close you are with some of the stuff in there. My favorite thing to see was that keychain that's been with you for so long, the care to keep track of it for all this time is heartwarming. That sucks to hear about your mom tossing the manga collection, that was a poor way of handling it on her part. It sounds from the story that not only did she not take time to confirm that the vampire books weren't going to turn you evil, but went even further and equated ALL the media you liked to the thing she didn't :( No punishment should be based around the idea of permanently getting rid of something very specifically because it's dear to the person you're punishing. She might not have thought too much of it at the time, but clearly it's something that's stuck in your mind this whole time. For the rest of it, I really just enjoyed seeing it all gathered together, and imagining the shelves and whatnot they would stand on. The different versions for the movie, especially, getting to see the difference in packing for the special edition vs base edition was a fun comparison for me.

Kench

Thanks Kai! Age can be a real monster on the pages of old manga- especially with yellowing ; o ; Even so, I still love collecting it and try my best to keep them in good condition! :D

I’m glad you enjoyed it Red! :D

I’m glad you enjoyed the video Kraiden and thank you so much for your comment! :D Pocket watches are super cool! I don’t think I ever wore mine, I was always too scared of it scratching haha! XD I was devastated when she did that as a kid/teen for sure. Now that I’m an adult I’m still a little salty but I know people can be a little harsh and I think she regrets doing it. We get along now and I think we understand one another better too. I told her how some of my manga got damaged during my move and she was nice enough to replace some; that was really nice of her since she definitely didn’t have to ❤️ I’m really happy I was able to show you all the big box set! It’s definitely my pride and joy when it comes to my FMA collection ❤️ Maybe one day I can get some of the voice actors to sign the book! :D

alichu

That's a cool collection of FMA merch. I wish I could've been as invested back in the day, but I mostly just stuck to collecting Manga when it came to my favorite series.

Kai Zomei

It was neat to see all the stuff!! Also vampire are awesome!!

Red XXX00

I’m glad you enjoyed it Skelly, thank you! :D I feel like my nervousness of having it all out of place was getting to me a bit in the video but I’m happy you all still enjoyed it lol xD That’s exactly how I was with the art book too haha! I would flip through it for hours trying to draw like Hiromu lol. While not the same style wise I’d like to think her influence is still with me as I draw today ^_^

alichu

Thank you so much Moy, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! :D Once I hit my pre-teen years I started to really become particular about my things (sorry old Pokemon cards before then! ; o ;). While some things aren’t perfect and have gone to aging I’d like the think most of my stuff held up pretty good! I think I want to show you all my Yu-GI-Oh! Cards next. Granted they are all ones I started to collect recently again but I still like them :D I’m sorry you had to deal with your things getting thrown away too, it really is rough. My mom and I get along now that I’m an adult, but back in the day we butted heads a lot. I don’t want to say I was the perfect kid (even though I kept to myself lol), but what I enjoyed definitely clashed with her religion/beliefs. If I see that manga box set still at the bookstore next time maybe I’ll pick it up :D

I’m glad you enjoyed the video Releo, thanks you! :D Don’t feel like you have to watch 2003 first by any means. Technically Brotherhood is the “true” story as it follows the manga exactly, so no need to wait if you want to watch now! :) If and when you can watch 2003 just go into it with a blank slate. It’s definitely it’s own story as at the time the manga wasn’t completed yet to base on fully.

It’s nice to have a fellow fan here, thanks for watching! :D ❤️

The pocket watch definitely stood out - had one myself back in the day and always felt that urge to wear it just because… well, pocket watches are undeniably cool. xD I should really dig it out again sometime, just for the nostalgia.~ Had no idea there were that many FMA games either - kinda envious now that I missed out on them! They looked fun, and I love how you even kept the manuals. There was just something special about flipping through those before or during a playthrough. They added so much charm and sometimes even lore you wouldn't get in-game. Reading a wiki just doesn't hit the same. :D You can really tell how much the collection means to you - everything's in amazing condition! Even the packaging is pristine, and the way everything's been preserved is super impressive. I'm genuinely sorry about the manga situation. That always hits extra hard when something you're emotionally attached to gets taken or destroyed. And yeah, especially for something like that... feels way too harsh. Can relate in a way - some of my old Game Boy game boxes (the cardboard ones) got thrown out or even burned because they were considered "unnecessary." Not quite the same, but it still stings. :/ Also, the book smell thing? Totally get it. There's something incredibly comforting about the scent of a freshly opened artbook or even trading cards. It's like instant happiness. xD Really loved the themed sets, especially the suitcase one with the envelope - such a clever and cool design! Not to mention the artbook with the leather finish. No wonder you're so fond of this collection, it's clear a lot of care went into both the items themselves and the way you've kept them. I think my favorite is definitely the limited edition box set - the leather-style artbook and the DVD box that looks like it belongs in a forbidden library just make it feel so immersive and atmospheric. Though honestly, the whole collection is amazing. Thanks for sharing it with us! :3

Kraiden

I like listening to people talk about the things they're passionate about. Especially when It's something they've liked since they were young. I really liked the first art book you showed, they smelly one lol, and also the letter in the suitcase. The art book reminds me of a book I still have that's a book of drawings of the ships in the Star Wars movies. Everything is hand drawn and is a cross section of every ship, even the Death Star. I used to just stare at it for so long, looking at every detail.

Sir Skelington

I knew we would get a video like this eventually because you would put it on the polls, so it's really cool to finally see this. This is awesome! I can tell this collection means a lot to you. And I'm honestly super impressed at how well kept it all is, especially some of the older stuff. We're like a year apart (technically two, but it's almost my birthday) but I don't know if I took care of anything so well like this when I was 11 or 12 years old lol It makes me excited to see more of the stuff you collect. I love that you opened the PS2 games and showed us the manuals. I think I would collect a lot of games physically if they still did that. The thing about Mom throwing away your manga is rough. I kinda get how you feel, my mom would throw away some of my stuff to punish me too. But my dad was arguably worse because he would throw things away he deemed junk when no one was around lol Not going to lie, the vampire smut story was sad but I found it a little hilarious since the latest YouTube video was vampire themed :P Treat yourself one of these days and get yourself the manga again. Even if you don't read it.

Moy

I still need to watch fma I’d like to watch both 2003 and brotherhood maybe I’ll find somewhere that has 2003 eventually. That pocket watch looked really nice I’ve always thought they were very stylish even if people don’t use them much in this era. Video games and movies with those booklets are such a throwback I used love reading all the booklets that came with media now everything is digital really miss that era. That box set at thee end was so cool anything that recreates iconic items from thee anime in real life like that is going to be awesome i and as some one who didn’t take care of my collectibles very well when i was younger and now regret that i understand and appreciate how well you take care of them and how nervous it can make you i have a lot of old halo mermorabila and while some of it is in good condition a lot of it is none looking so hot anymore and I wish i had taken better care of them.really cool collection even though i haven’t watched fma yet it was still interesting I think im have to watch brotherhood soon i was planning on waiting tell i found 2003 so i could watch them back to back but now im to intrigued to wait. I think my favorite item was the pocket watch I really like things like that simple yet still so cool.

Releothunder

I'm 100% more of a Brotherhood fan but seeing other people enjoy FMA as much as I do always gives me the warm-and-fuzzies :)
