I hope you all had a nice Christmas and have a good new year too :) Unfortunately I did come down with a slight cold but thankfully it’s not too bad (I’m already starting to feel better :D). Despite that my Christmas was still fun! I made myself a steak, played my PS5 and watched the old Berserk anime. While I did share it already in an attachment, here’s the art of the recent Padpa audio! 🩷

I hope to continue improving my art this year so it means a lot that you think that ❤️ As for Berserk, I highly recommend! The old anime is good but tbh I love the manga the most. Whatever way you choose to consume it though I hope you enjoy it- it’s definitely a classic and a must watch for anyone that loves 80s/90s vibes :) I’ve heard this Modest Mouse song before and I like it! :) I had never seen the MV before though so thanks for telling me about that. I always love sketchy/art related videos for songs. It’s probably my bias but for me it makes the video/music x10 better :P As for your guess, she will be a hobbit! :D My past LoTR audio was more of a fangirl rather than a hobbit herself (unless cosplay counts hehe :P) This one though will be set in middle-earth! ✨

The holidays are a nice distraction but, as I'm sure you understand, a bit exhausting having to be "switched on" all the time. I mentioned it in the last post, but I really love Padpa's design. I feel like the art is somehow even better than usual. The hair tie and wink is like some strange neuron activation wizardry. Hopefully you could still enjoy the food even though you were a little sick. I always get annoyed because I'm immediately unable to taste anything if my nose is even slightly stuffed up xD Forces really has that "hook" factor. Grabbed my attention from the very start. It kind of has that 80s sound that I'm a fan of. Maybe I'll need to bump Berserk more towards the top of my list. I feel like I'm missing out on a lot, lol. My recommendation for this week is King Rat by Modest Mouse. This one has a really neat music video, so I recommend you watch that version if you get a chance! Edit: I realize that I totally forgot to guess on the upcoming character. My initial thought was Hobbit and I see that was correct :P I feel like you did another Hobbit character in the past though? Either way, I'm excited to hear it!

I remember it being really good! I’ve been curious about the MMO too as I’ve heard some good things about it :)

I probably should have clarified this when I brought up the convention, but it's not until April :P Prices go up basically every month leading up to it and I want to have time to study the layout map. If I have the opportunity to do so, I will always plan something out as far in advance as possible.

I can only imagine how that guy reacted ❤️ As for the manga at Barnes and Noble- it’s insane! I swear some of them have 4-5 bookshelves worth. It can be a little intimidating ngl 😅 I do love it though. Nothing beats buying the newest manga volume of a series you enjoy! Oh, how did the convention go btw? Hopefully you had fun! :D Also, I had no idea until now there was a real MV for Spiral. That song always made me emotional when it played but dear God the MV…I feel tears in my eyes right now 😭

Sounds like you had a cozy Christmas despite your cold :) The last few days have been pretty random for me, but I went to Barnes and Noble the day after Christmas to get myself some books I wanted. Their manga section just gets bigger every time I go, I've mentioned it before but I don't really read much manga, but this really makes me want to start. Speaking of random, I had someone come to install a water line today. He saw I had DS with pokemon Emerald sticking out of the bottom. Told me about how his friend stole his Gameboy and his DS lite broke a while ago. I like hearing people talk about what they like, especially if I like it too :P It was his lucky day. I collect handhelds and have 3 DS lites, so I gave him one. It felt pretty nice. Padpa is bombshell. In my opinion, she might be the most attractive character I've seen from you. If that makes sense lol We had one Christmas gift from you, looks like this is second Christmas :P Your timing is so perfect. I do a rewatch around this time of year, so i'm super excited for this. I love the Lord of the Rings so fucking much. The top shelf of my largest bookshelf is all dedicated to LOTR and Middle Earth in general. Man, the old Berserk anime makes me upset sometimes because of how they handled the follow-ups. Since you did a recommendation that was in an anime, I'll do the same. I'm pretty sure you've heard this one considering we talked about the anime recently, but I really like this song. Spiral - Longman Around this time of the year, I usually type up a list of my favorite anime of the year and share to a group chat I have with friends. Like I can't not feel nothing but a sense of love for her. I keep seeing mainly Hobbit Ali for this character guess, but then again I only think of the height for that situation more than what the actual reference is. Not to mention when I saw "hairy feet," my mind instantly went to Bigfoot because that's the only logical sense I can get from this. (That or if you're gonna purposely include feet in the thumbnail just to get a rise out of some of us). For the song this week, I'm going with the brand new ZZZ soundtrack that came out during the ending of Ch. 5. Honestly, they cooked hard with this one. I thought the 4th Chapter music as definitely sad but then again not much, but this one has that feel to where we finally see all factions together at last and having a get together of all they've been through. Whenever I catch myself starting to sense that impending 'sick' feeling in my throat or chest, I always slam my system with extra magnesium and vitamin C supplements. Usually seems to help (If not end it outright if I pair it with sleep, but... Well.. Nocturnal insomnia kitten, and all.) The 'hairy feet' tagline can only make me think of the shire folk, haha~ I can't really place any other monster with hairy feet where the 'feet' aren't rather 'hooves' or 'paws'. If so, the biggest question becomes, are we visiting the shire? Or are we leaving the Four Farthings with this one, crosssing paths with the rare but based wanderlust enjoyer? Forces is a phenomenal piece. 11/10. Basically a core memory. Nothing can really compete, but in the spirit of music recommends, I've had 'From Hell with Love' by Beast in Black stuck in my head for like three days now. xD
