Thanks a bunch! As for the music thing, I get what you mean for sure. There's been times I've done similar things. I think it's usually better in the long run to step back for a bit before continuing what you're working on. I had to remind myself of that not too long ago when making characters. Mad respect for being self taught. Got a few others here that are into making music and I think that's really awesome! :)

2023-10-16 09:22:12 +0000 UTCNah you’re not boring, I’m just a bit of a mixology nerd. I do not exaggerate when I say I’ve no less than 34 different bottles spanning various whiskies, tequilas, gins, rums, brandies and liqueurs lol

2023-10-15 05:42:03 +0000 UTCYeah that's pretty close to what I have experienced most of my life as well. Even in school I hardly ever got sick despite my school having 2,000+ people at it that could all possibly transfer their sickness to me lol. It's not too bad though, as this weekend is kinda cursed for my friend group. One person had their computer break, one got called into work, I'm sick still, etc. So not much was going on anyways. So I've just been resting and learning different board games.

2023-10-15 04:14:27 +0000 UTCTaking commissions takes a lot of courage Imo. My friend will give me ideas every now and then of things to work on, but I follow those so rarely/ loosely that I know commissions are a big step. I also took a long break from music, but I think it's because I go through seasons of not wanting to work on it, and end up only touching it if I have an idea I want to write down during that time. I especially lack focus because I'm self taught, which really sucks, 'cause it's not unlikely for a project to start cool, and end as an over worked disaster. Imagine doing digital art, trying to draw nice shading using many different layers, but not having any clue how shadows and light work. You end up with dark shadows in places that don't make sense, and bad color distortion/ banding everywhere.. Regardless, that's awesome to hear! I wish you luck with your future work

2023-10-15 03:23:37 +0000 UTCVery nice, they sound pretty good! :D I'll admit that I'm pretty boring when it comes to drinks. I usually just sip Jack Daniels or have a Jack and Coke most times. It would be neat to try different drinks more often- maybe I should try to be more adventurous the next time I buy some!

2023-10-15 03:02:36 +0000 UTCI'm sorry to hear that- I'm glad you seem to be feeling a little better now though! I don't get sick too often but when I do I get REALLY sick. I'm thankful the most I usually have to deal with is allergies. I hope in a few days you'll be back to normal! :)

2023-10-15 02:50:35 +0000 UTCThanks Chancellor, I appreciate that! I used to do art commissions a few years back as a job. Just as you mentioned, I realized that turning my passion into a job wasn't for me. After a while I wasn't in the best head space and decided to stop drawing entirely for a bit. I'm happy I went through that experience though since it taught me how I want to pursue art moving forward ^_^

2023-10-15 02:46:51 +0000 UTCThe whiskey was pretty good, solid mid-grade stuff. The standard No. 9 was surprisingly mellow and balanced for having rye in it. That’s not a diss on rye, I love the boldness of rye whiskey. In fact Knob Creek Rye is my usual go-to for my sippin whiskey. Clown’s Shine is the sweetest of the bunch with a bit of corn/nuttiness to it and has a stronger ethanol taste, tastes kinda similar to Luxardo liquer actually. The No. 9 Red Cask and No. 9 Reserve have a lot of similar flavors with the regular No. 9 but the Red Cask is a bourbon so it’s a bit sweeter and the Reserve is a little higher quality so it’s a little more woody in a good way

2023-10-14 01:34:29 +0000 UTCYeah I'm pretty sure it's been less than a month since the last time. I think I have been sick more this year than the past 5 years combined lol. All my good luck is running out. My sickness is finally coming down today but it's been a sucky few days as I wasn't sick enough to justify using time off from work (I also work from home so I'm not getting anyone else sick). I also don't mind being part of a test group, it's always neat to listen to new things even if they don't work out.

2023-10-14 00:13:57 +0000 UTCThank you Succotash, I really appreciate your comment a lot! :D I can tell you for 100% certainty that I wasn't getting enough protein. I didn't say this in the ramble, but when I said I wasn't eating right what I really meant was I was vegan/vegetarian for around 2-3 years. I'm not saying it's bad to eat that way by any means as I respect people who do, but what I do know is that I specifically was an idiot about it. My younger self had good intentions but was too stupid to research how to do things properly xD How was the whisky btw? I'd love to try it sometime if I get the chance! If the cashier was anything like me after that interaction she probably went home and had a nice glass of said whisky to wash down all the bullshit from her shift that day lol.

2023-10-14 00:02:46 +0000 UTCDo you mean to say you draw for work 🤔? Doing a creative type job like that would be really cool, but even if I could persue my own creative interests, Idk if I would. I fear that I would lose my love for the medium, and I already compare my simplest of work to other works until I dislike it. I respect what you have done thus far, as your art seems to improve fairly rapidly...

2023-10-13 23:49:37 +0000 UTCOh man, isn't this the second time you've gotten sick recently? I think you said the first time was food poisoning? either way, I hope you're doing ok! Make sure to get plenty of rest and drink water. The nerve of me to say that to someone else when all I drink is coffee lol. As for the skewers, we'll see about those. I didn't think they were that great in retrospect xD You all are a great test group though so now I know for the future!

2023-10-13 23:43:40 +0000 UTCHaha, that would have been amazing to hear! I've never worked with food but my God, I've seen how some people talk to those poor workers in the deli section at grocery stores. They don't even talk to them it's like they just bark an order. It's the entitlement that some people think they have that's so frustrating lol.

2023-10-13 23:36:58 +0000 UTCI've gotten the comment "being around you makes me feel tall" a lot over the years lol. While I'm the oldest of my siblings they are both much taller than me. Granted we have different Moms but it's still not fair- where were my tall genes?! lol. Walking/running is one of my favorite things to do when exercising. When I lived back in my home state, I had the luxury of walking wherever I liked, not so much anymore. If I walk now, I go to a park during the day, which is nice but not the same as walking in country woods!

2023-10-13 23:32:01 +0000 UTCI'm happy to hear you enjoy the bat girl audio! :D I'm excited to do a sequel once I learn the ins and outs of my 3dio. May take me a bit since I recently discovered a few things about it that need more looking into on my end. As for food, my main staples of what I can cook are curry (just the simple boxed one lol), stirfry, and eggs. Anything else is just simple prep like a sandwich or salad. I've never tried Pho, but it seems like something I'd really like- always wanted to try it! Retail work is pretty much all I know outside of drawing. Even after all this time I still have those days of dealing with something new lol. Part of me likes it but I definitely have days where I'm like, "Why the hell am I doing this?" lol. And then I remember, "Oh right, I need to live!" xD I can relate to the friend story you mentioned. I had a few classes in school where I found myself not doing as well because I had a friend in said class. For the most part I was pretty strict with always trying to get A's but some of my friends were degenerates (I mean that in the best way possible, I loved them lol).

2023-10-13 23:18:09 +0000 UTCI'll play devil's advocate here a bit too since I've had German chocolate from family members. Even so, I still like my Reese's and Hershey bar! Thanks for the workout tips skelly, I'd really like to try and get back into it the right way this time :D As for the Overlord cards, TCG player is site I buy from a lot if you want to order online. When it comes to Weiss Schwarz, just be aware that some sellers can be sneaky. There are usually 3 signed cards in a case of product, so what some of them will do is open up boxes until they get a signed card to sell individually and then just sell the "dead" boxes. Sorry for that little ramble- I just wanted you to be aware in case you bought some for yourself. Like most things though, if the seller's rating is good you can probably rest easy :)

2023-10-13 22:16:53 +0000 UTCThanks Azazel, I appreciate it! :D My height doesn't bug me as much as it used to. Now that I'm older I've come to terms with it. It definitely got to me a lot when I was younger, but I try to look on the bright side now- like If I ever need to hide in a zombie apocalypse, I'll have more places to choose from :P As for the chocolate connoisseur, even his wife looked over his talking lol. Part of me was hoping she'd tell him to shut up, that would have been a hilarious couple interaction. Maybe the guy was having a bad day too, but still- don't involve the poor cashier! That girl already has enough to deal with to want to hear about a chocolate rant!

2023-10-13 21:50:45 +0000 UTC0.8g-1.0g protein per kg of body weight for casual gym goers (low to mid intensity workouts 3 days a week) 1.0g-1.6g per kg for consistent gym goers (3 days mid to high intensity workouts with 2 days being low to mid intensity) 1.6g-2.0g per kg for athletes/body builders (5+ days of mid to high intensity workouts) staying on the upper end around 2.0g per kg during the active muscle building phase but dropping to around the 1.4g-1.6g per kg range during the muscle maintenance phase Going beyond 2.0g-2.5g per kg starts to put you at risk for liver toxicity though. In the process of breaking down protein, ammonia is excreted as a waste product. Normally your bodily easily filters it out and it’s expelled trough urine, but if you consume an excessive amount of protein it can overload your system and cause those liver toxicity issues

2023-10-13 08:43:41 +0000 UTCThe 3Dio hype is real! The chopsticks sounded really nice, loved those. The skewers were okay, just very faint. Totally get what you mean about ordering expensive stuff and being nervous about something happening to it. I bought all the Slipknot whiskies a month ago, it was just shy of $220 altogether. They were being shipped from Iowa and the whole time I was thinking, “those shits better not be broken when they get here or I will fight all of UPS” lol. Also, that Mr. Chocolate mfer slandered Reese’s like that??? Thems fightin words right there. Don’t get me wrong I love my fancy pants 80% cacao and sea salt BS too but Reese’s is S tier chocolate. Oh and I’m sure the cashier was VERY impressed with Mr. Chocolate’s SUPERIORLY refined palate, she probably went home that evening simply LAMENTING the fact that she couldn’t hold a candle to his exquisite culinary tastes. Thank you for your impeccable opinion Mr. Chocolate, I know no one fucking asked but thank you As for working out, I’m definitely no expert but I can tell you that diet is extremely important if you wanna grow muscle mass. If you’re lifting consistently and not seeing the gains you want, chances are you’re not getting enough protein. Definitely do your own research though and find what works for you. After all, I’m just some dude not a trainer haha, but if you or anyone else is interested I put the general guidelines for protein intake that I’ve seen in a reply to this comment

2023-10-13 08:40:51 +0000 UTCI have been incredibly sick the past few days so I didn't see the twitter post, but it seems like you had a nice day and got some cool things too! Also looking forward to the 3Dio videos. Honestly the kitchen utensils seemed fine but I think the skewers(?) sounded a little plain, and as you mentioned were a little low volume as well. I feel for that employee, I don't even know how I would respond to something like that at least as an employee since there's not much you can do about what they are complaining about. I do agree that chocolate from overseas is on average better but it's not like I won't eat American chocolate either. I have never really worked out proper, I don't even do regular exercise most of the time unless I start weighing more than I think is okay. I have heard from friends and people online that trainers can be super helpful when trying to bulk. But other than that I don't really have any helpful advice.

2023-10-12 16:08:30 +0000 UTCI relate to the cashier. I worked both cashier and deli and it’s a pain in the butt. I would have hit buddy with the Dora the Explorer phrase. “Sir can you help me find my I give a fxck, I don’t see it, do you see it?” lol

2023-10-12 05:49:55 +0000 UTCFortunately I am average height 5.7 although I've heard that's not average its more like 5.9 I think XD but I'll take what I got lol. I'm the same way when I buy expensive stuff I tell myself do I really want this or need this or I hesitate or like that quick pain or like ouch feeling when you hit purchase lol. Those chop sticks and skewer thing sound pretty goof very relaxing wait a minute you could make an episode of hells kitchen with one of your characters 👀. Uhhhh man I have late classes so I'm basically dead tried after class so going the grocery store is a pain I'm tried annoyed so I definitely get annoyed when I somone get rude or just being like a issue I'm like come man can you not do whatever your doing just buy your stuff and like rant in your car or something don't do it to the cashier or whoever. I love Herseys that guy definitely probably has done that before someone else. Honestly I've never been much of gym rat or like super into the gym mainly cuz of my dad but back in high school I used to walk almost everyday for like 2 hours and I loved it i don't have to the time to walk for that long anymore but I still love going for walks when I get the chance. Funny enough sometimes when I go walk I kinda zone out so like when my mind comes back I'm like wtf how did I get here or I'm like dam I walked far lol. I don't even think I'm cable of being mad lol even if I tried lol if anything I just get super annoyed. Although when I do go to the gym I like going when it's empty I am introverted to my core lol

2023-10-12 05:18:17 +0000 UTCFunny that you talked about the bat video, as that's easily one of my favorites. When she pauses to acknowledge that you met with the singer afterwards, it felt genuine and made me feel like I was being appreciated for something that never happened. I do like the new items you found. They could possibly be used in a themed video around kitchenware if you haven't already done so... I have to wonder what you can cook, since you stated that you don't know much. If you are anything like me, you worry about how bad it's going to turn out when you cook something for the first time, and then it either turns out great or you are overly critical of it 😅. Something that has been on my mind as of late is Pho. Pho is really good! I want to learn how to make it since it looks like it can vary in complexity, but turn out great no matter how basic you decide to keep it. Btw, I agree that your experience at the grocery store would've been annoying. You'll hear from ex-retail workers all the time about how it should be mandatory for people to work a customer service job for a couple of months because it would reduce the ammount of a**holes, and I am one of those ex workers. I solute you for working retail at all. I had some of the nicest co-workers growing up, and yet you'd catch them occasionally being mistreated like you were working at the local Waffle House xD. Honestly just sad that people have to project their bad days on others.. Funny thing about weight lifting.. Back in highschool I joined class with my best friend, but I ended up partnering with a different friend simply because I knew I wouldn't get anything done being with him. Sure enough the days I worked with him were my least productive 🙃. That was eaily one of my favorite classes at the time though. It's really cool that exercise has been so good for your mood. I know I have bad anger issues when I'm playing games. It's really awkward how "into it" I occasionally get. With that said, I've never been good with exercise, so to have a place where I felt like I was met at my level, and had audible support? Yeah, it was an awesome class. I also find it funny that you bring up looking/ acting like a relative, because I've felt the same about me and my dad as of late, and now I have to convince myself that I'm not like him. Often by reminding myself that I'm taller.. Even basic mannerisms, like how he talks about games he plays, or forgets words in the moment, etc. He's not a bad person to be like though. I love him. Hopefully this week is as interesting as last. Have a good night!

2023-10-12 04:36:18 +0000 UTCDogs and airplanes, two of my favorite things. Just to play devil's advocate, I've heard that american chocolate is terrible compared to european, that being said, whining about it in front of staff who literally can't do anything about it, is a dingus move. If you still wanna try and workout as much as possible then you can do different muscle groups each day, but I do believe its better to do around 3 good full body workouts each week. I really like doing calisthenics, dips, leg raises, and especially pull ups. ps I'm going to be buying some Overlord cards now that you let me know those exist.

2023-10-12 04:26:26 +0000 UTCBeing short has its benefits Alichu. Bright side is that you can easily be cute and also have a big heart for how you think of yourself. Downside is that you may be mistaken as a child and it may be worse if you go to a fair and you aren't the height to even go on a ride. Being tall honestly feels rough, mainly whenever it comes to having to do stuff that I couldn't do from some time. Also, I'm pretty sure that person was thinking about showing an opinion to the cashier if they were trying to drag you along with them. Hell, I'm pretty sure you could've just said that you didn't care or that you were too distracted with listening to the music they have in the store. Just because people have an opinion on one thing, doesn't mean you have the same opinion to what they say since you probably don't know what "specific" chocolate they were even talking about.
