Creepy Storytime & Ghoul Art! [Rain & Thunder Sounds]

**Just another heads up that I talk about creepy/paranormal stuff in case you're not into that** <3

Like I said in the video, still not sure how I feel about ghosts/paranormal stuff but it's still interesting to talk about! Now that I'm older I try to rationalize everything but maybe some things aren't meant to be rationalized- who am I to say :P

I can't remember if I mentioned this or not, but this is art for my next youtube roleplay which is a ghoul :D

Wow Alichu! I’m from NC as well, just underneath Uwharrie Forest and I have experienced many things too, could be something about this part of the earth lol. Anyway I listened to all the ASMRs in Patreon and was going to comment on my favorite and would definitely be this one! Now that I think of it yeah your accent is what also draws me to your ASMRs, and also your vocabulary, it felt familiar and no wonder. Also what tells me that you’ve played Disgaea 2? Anyway, tc

Heh yer smart not to mess with the ghosties too much, but there's also not as much to fear as you'd think. Just like...mm use dark type moves if they mess with ya. Blast em. Eat em. But yeh the nightmares are gone and dat demon got purged fr. Either that or I just got used to it, w/e

dead to me

I'm glad you enjoyed the stories! I wanted to start off spooky month the right way hehe :P I'll have to check out the manga when I get the chance. I just recently went to the bookstore so the next time I go I'll see if they have a copy!

Tennessee is such a beautiful state. My family would visit there for vacations and I always enjoyed it. It's always scarier when the person who doesn't believe in stuff claims to have seen or experienced something, so I completely get what you mean. That's how I knew the story about the toys had to have been something since someone like my dad was disturbed by it!

You're telling me, I am so happy summer is done. I hate the heat and I hate how crowded things are even more lol. I know I'm just bitching but still, summer can screw off now :P As far as I know I've never been one to sleepwalk. I have a cousin who did and that seems rough. I'm sorry you had to deal with that, especially alongside nightmares and feeling like you're being watched- that's pretty creepy ngl. Do you still experience that now or has it calmed down? Very similar to how you described, when I got into late middle and high school I wasn't as afraid of potential paranormal stuff. I think it went from fear to interest and I started learning more about it. Don't get me wrong, I was still scared of some things. Overall, I think I was/am just curious about it all. Still wouldn't do ouija board stuff with my goth bestie though, I have my limits xD

Growing up in TN most of the stories that I either have or have been told take place in and around the woods. One that my dad told me about when I was little was that when one of his uncles died and they went to his house to get some of his stuff, his sister also lived in that house and she was a witch, like had all the books and would try to put curses on people and everything. My father said that when him and a friend went there that they would see a dark figure with yellow eyes just staring at them. Now if this was anyone else I'd say yeah whatever, but he ain't easily scared and if he said he saw something then I believe him. I've never had anything too crazy happen to myself, although I did have one strange thing happen but it's not creepy, more so comforting.

🎃💀Im ready for the spooks👻🪦rip summer, good riddance. Off to a good start with the stories, some countryside hauntings at the farmhouse, classic. I had to look up Black Eyed Children and theres like a whole legend to it. Damn. Freaky. I've always believed in supernatural stuff, mostly cuz I've always had to cope with the fear of it. As I kid I would have constant nightmares, every night, it got to the point where I was afraid to sleep. My parents told me I would sleepwalk a lot, just wander and sometime stand at their bedside staring at them. Crying. Must've been creepy af. So I'd stay up all night out of fear, but in the dark I'd always feel the looming presence of a large black sludge man staring over me in bed. I'd stay up til sunrise thinking that I'm gonna be killed. Pretty much every night and it never really went away. Always felt a bit.... haunted, I guess. Stopped being afraid of spooks in highschool when I started partying with the witchy goth kids. We'd chase the ghosts down for fun. Mostly just bum around weird empty places. Idk for sure if things like that are "real" but we've seen some things that can't really be explained. So really it's just for fun. Ghosts or not, I'd never give up the memories of goofin the in dark with my homies.

dead to me

Yeah I don't have any religious or spiritual beliefs but I still will get creeped out quite often depending on the place. I don't think I explicitly said it in the first post, but the stories were all entertaining to listen to. Also I understand the confusion about Kengan Ashura and Baki. They are pretty similar at a surface level lol. Although Kengan Ashura's anime is not too great, at least animation wise, while Baki's is stellar. Still would recommend reading Kengan Ashura if you have free time as it's pretty short. Although it does a have a sequal manga called Kengan Omega that I think is still ongoing but I'm not 100% sure. Karura is great though! Very much the good, or at least entertaining, kind of insane lol.

I hate to admit this, but that reason is exactly why I tried so hard to not have my accent. I was the stupid one for worrying about how others would see me. I really do regret thinking that because I would love nothing more than to have my natural accent again but it's too late now- unless I move back home and it picks back up again! I get the thing about your dad. While not the same in regard to the subject, I know the face you're talking about that people give you when you say it. I know everyone has their own way of dealing with things like that, so as long as you're in a good spot about it that's what matters. Ngl, your ghost story creeped me out at first, but the conclusion really was great! You wrote that well too- would make a good story! I absolutely love how you just came back with "Hi" and laughed- freaking amazing xD I wish I had the balls to do something like that. I'm a big baby when it comes to stuff like that though. If I get too scared, I just leave unnecessary lights on for the night. Funny how I have no problems having an attitude with a real person but not with a potential dead one lol.

I'm glad you enjoyed the stories Antoni! I hope I didn't scare you too much xD As for the girl, I did tell my mom what she looked like, but nothing seemed familiar regarding a family member or anything like that, or if it did, I wasn't made aware. She really didn't have any striking facial features other than her black eyes and being all white. She was almost blank and showed no emotion at all until that one time. Don't worry, I'll try to throw in a chill ramble or two this month to compensate for all the upcoming creepy characters! After telling these stories I ended up creeping myself out for the rest of the night. I kept more lights on than usual lol.

alichu

I'm glad you enjoyed the stories, hopefully I didn't creep you out too much haha! When I got a little older I mentioned the girl to my Mom again and she very much believed it was an evil spirit, she didn't want to tell me that as a kid which I understand and appreciate lol. If we're talking nightmares, oh boy have I had a lot of those! That's a whole other can of worms xD

alichu

My thoughts exactly on the girl. I can't really explain what that whole thing was, but it was scary nonetheless! There's a lot of things that while I don't know how I feel about believing myself, I can't help but find them interesting- ghosts being a big one. It's neat to hear everyone's thoughts on it! You may be on to something about the headband, that does make sense. I also didn't rule out that my friend lied to me just to creep me out lol. She isn't a very good liar though so that one is a little hard for me to believe xD Either way, it happening after the haunted attraction just made it eerie. So I looked up Kengan Ashura and I swear to God I thought it was Baki at first. I'll need to look into that at some point, I like me a good fighting story. As for the girl...She sure is something, very much my type looks wise :P

alichu

Those are some creepy stories yourself, I enjoyed reading them! The feeling about being watched in your grandma's apartment is really eerie, definitely not a good feeling. I always find events like that even scarier when multiple people have the same experience. Seeing that your other family members have mentioned feeling similar in that room makes it more spooky. I didn't mention this is the video, but I wrote a paper in uni about ghosts, and even though I'm on the fence about them I still think it's interesting to think about! If I had to pick what makes most sense to me, I think we experience weird stuff because of energy a person leaves behind, maybe even our own. I wouldn't say it's a spirit but maybe energy from emotions, etc. Kinda like when you can "feel" someone is upset. Seeing that this all took place in an apartment I'm sure there have been all sorts of other people to live there, move out, etc. all with their own emotions/energies. That's just my thought though, like I said it's really cool to think about! :)

I’m all for sticking it to YT man, and more speedpaints just means more Alichu so it seems like a win win, at least on our end! You know I worked with a dude from North Carolina. He had the thickest country accent I ever done heard. I know some have an unfair notion that people with that kinda drawl are stupid or whatever but if you talked to him even for a little bit you’d find out quick he was smart as fuck. Heart of gold too, just goes to show don’t ever judge a book by its cover. And maybe I’m over-sharing but, my parents split when I was young too, so I can understand not feeling bad about your parents being separated since it happened at a young age. My dad actually blew his own brains out when I was eleven. Whenever I say that most people get this weird look on their face and ask if I’m okay. Don’t get me wrong I get why, it sounds real bad at face value. But honestly since he had been outta my life so long, and he was never around much to begin with, it was like hearing a stranger had offed themselves. Sad they got to that point but, I didn’t know them or anything. Also I can relate to your dad in the sense that I need good evidence to believe something. I’m definitely a skeptic, especially with spiritual/supernatural stuff. My stance on ghosty stuff though can be best summed up in a quote from Arin Hanson, “I don’t believe in it. That being said, I NEVER wanna be in a situation or see something that MAKES me believe in it.” Or at least it went something like that. However I do have my own weird experiences that, kinda like you said, I’ll chock up to being young. Cause honestly I really don’t wanna entertain the idea of them being real lol. I apologize in advance for how long the story is gonna be haha My (not so) little ghost story goes something like this: Back when my mom was a teen she drove past a graveyard, and saw a young girl in a white dress with blond hair walking amongst the headstones. In the moment she didn’t think much of it, until she got to her father’s house and realized that a girl alone in a cemetery so late in the evening was peculiar to say the least. She told her father of the experience and he said there was a neighbor girl who died when he was young. Tuberculosis if I remember correctly. Strangely, the girl matched my mothers description. Creepy to say the least. Fast forward a number of years, and my father and mother are now married. During a holiday party with the family, my father excused himself to use the restroom, however when he approached the long hallway of my grandfather’s house where the restroom is, he suddenly screamed and jumped back, falling to the floor. When everyone came to see what was wrong, nothing appeared out of the ordinary. But he swore that he saw a blond girl in a white dress, quietly standing at the end of the dark hallway. Fast forward again, and I’m now in the picture as a young teen. I’m doing laundry in the back room, my sister watching TV at the other end of the house. I suddenly hear a young girl whisper my name right in my ear. I was obviously frightened, but tried to console myself thinking maybe it could have been my sister, even though it didn’t sound anything like her and there’s no way it would sound like a whisper since she would have to yell across the whole house for me to hear her. I went and asked if she called for me and just as I feared, she hadn’t. I went back to the laundry, unsettled. After a few minutes, I heard the same voice, in hushed tones. She giggled and said, “hi”. Thoroughly freaked the fuck out, I got the hell out of the laundry room. Fast forward again to my later teen years. It’s late at night, and I’ve walked out to our shed to to feed our cat, Spike. Bumfuck nowhere Oklahoma so it’s pitch black. The wiring in the shed was never fixed so there’s no lights and more importantly, no heat. It’s late November, very cold and dry. I approach the shed door and as soon as I open it, I felt a warmth. It was only on my right side, as if someone were standing right next to me. I don’t know why but somehow, I just knew that warmth belonged to the same whispering voice that I heard a few years prior and that it was the same girl both my mother and father had seen. Strangely I wasn’t afraid this time, so I laughed and responded to her greeting from years past. I laughed and said, “Hi”. Suddenly the warmth at my side was gone, leaving me alone in the cold of the late autumn night. And I haven’t had any experiences like that since. (Again, sorry for writing a fucking novel but I wanted to tell my ghosty experience haha)

Ali, have you ever told someone in your family what that eyeless girl looked like? I remember a story from Mr Nightmare; a child would constantly see this woman appearing out of nowhere. When the child's parents asked for the description, they were shocked that it matched the description of the mother's sister. Paranormal activity is one of the things that scare me the most. I'm definitely a believer for ghosts/spirits and higher powers. As I write this, I'm looking over my shoulder - at the corner of my bedroom at which my dog always stares at. Though, I've never experienced such an aggressive encounter like you did. Glad they came to an end for you. Cool video you've put together here, thanks for sharing these stories! Looking at this scary ghoul character, imagining the images for your stories and in the dark (I decided to try and be brave) all added up to be a pretty unnerving 27 minutes. But that's the point of this month, ain't it? And this is only the beginning. Oh dear... I might need my teddy. Or maybe your videos can calm me down. Like an equilibrium; getting scared by Alichu then being relaxed by Alichu. XD I like that. Have a great day/night and we look forward to the ghoul coming this Friday!

Thanks for sharing these stories. Being a religious man myself, I do believe in the supernatural to an extent, but am also a logical person. I don't proactively believe in ghosts, but may suppose ghost or other super natural sightings with fair legitimacy could be angels or demons if a logical explanation feels like too much a stretch to work out. I don't recall any experiences like these myself, but I do remember a few nightmares that creeped me out.

I'm not a big believer in anything super natural but I do know that we just don't know enough about the world to properly solve what is happening all the time. I also think that to some degree it doesn't matter, it's still scary regardless. Like for example your story about the girl, whether it was a hallucination, a ghost, or a real person that found their way into your house, all of these would be scary for a child no matter the rationalization. Also for the head band story you may have slept walked to find it as strange as that may sound. I have little wireless earbuds that I use to listen to things before I go to sleep. I have trained myself to take them off in the middle of the night when I am still sleeping and put them on my shelf. However one day I had lost one and just decided I would look for it when I woke up, but when I did it was already on my shelf. So you may have just unconsciously searched your jacket or other clothing and found it and just put it back in it's normal spot just due to habit. Also I enjoyed the little note that said "Fuck these eyes" lol, I can't imagine how hard it must be to get them right but they do remind me of a character from a manga called "Kengan Ashura" and the characters name is "Kure Karura". And they are are one of my favorite characters in anime/manga so I very much enjoyed seeing them on this very nice and not frightening at all lady.

Ooooo those were some pretty creepy stories your ghost experiences remind me alot mine as growing up too I was a only child for a long time and I didn't really have any family that was my age so I was often alone so i kinda had to figure out how to entertain myself as well and for a long time me my mom and dad lived with my grandma in this apartment complex and I remember once I was probably around like 8 or 7 I was home alone playing Xbox by myself I forget what I was playing I think halo 3 or like left 4 dead but anyways you know thoese heavy or like really thick wooden doors that you kinda have to give like force to close or open well this door out of no where slams with such force by itself that I drop my controller out of fear and I was so freaked out and confused because this door is too heavy for something like the wind to close it let alone with such force. I was so sacred and dumbstruck cuz I was in the middle of the room and door is like off in the corner and like I said it's a thick heavy door so it's literally impossible for it to slam like that on it's own and no amount of wind could do that more aless it doesn't get that windy where I live and the windows were closed and after it slowly and creepy returned to its exact same position it was before it slamed on its own I never told anyone since no one would belive me and I was so scared and I couldn't even believe it myself for a long time. My grandma apartment also I'm not sure what it is or like how to explain it but like it gives off a bad feeling or like a your being watched or like just omuins feeling or like a bad omen idk how to explain but creepy stuff would alway happen when we lived down there like the room we stayed in I always had nightmares like one of them was like some wendigo or like wolf type creature chasing me around the complex and I was little at the time so I had no concept of what a wendigo was or ever heard of it. Another one that I will always remember that was one of the most terrifying things I have ever experienced was sleep paralysis which I also had no context of being little but as child it was terrifying like not being able to move scream or anything just move your eyes but I remember this so clearly that as I was experiencing this our door out the room was open and I remember I couldn't see cuz it was too dark but in that door way there was some presence I could also make out an outline of something but If anything I knew forsure that their was some kind of presence there and then after a while of staring at that thing I blackout and I woke up. Years later once we moved out to the back house of the apartment complex I told my mom about that story and she told me she also had nightmares and sleep paralysis so did everyone who stayed in that room from my uncle to my grandpa but what I always find strange to me is after we had moved out I never had sleep paralysis again and my nightmares became extremely rare. My grandma is still alive and we all still live in the apartment complex except my family live in the back house of the apartment complex but to this day eveytime I go downstairs to my grandmas that feeling of being watched or just really creepy feeling comes back and honestly that sleep paralysis experience and living at my grandmas apartment for a long time is the reason why I am often afraid of the dark or like afraid of sleeping which I still am to this day and why I'm like sorta paranoid like that was another small thing there was always strange noise that happened frequently and like whispers and I know for a fact it was not our neighbors since I could distinguish the difference between the noises also stuff vanishing then reappearing out of nowhere when I know for a fact that I lost somethings outside our house or things that I know I did not miss place like my controller's or the batteries would be mysteriously be gone or be dead when I had just put in fresh batteries it wasn't a case of like your parents or other family members taking them and putting them into the TV controller's and we always had alot of batteries so it also wasn't a case of having few batteries in the house and I would always ask my parents but they always denied it and looked at me like I was crazy and I thought I was honestly. Anyways that was quite long lol P.S. I'm also listening to this at like 1am which was a bad idea lol but they were still good stories worth it XD
