Hello everyone and happy Friday! This audio is a little different than most of the ones I've done. Sometimes it's nice to dive into a different genre and emotion now and then ;) As the title says, this is heavily inspired by Land of the Lustrous as I am a huge fan of the manga and anime. If you haven't read or watched it, I highly recommend, or at least listen to the opening song- beautiful singing indeed.
I know sad stories aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I was very inspired by this week's character and really wanted to show my love of this series with this audio <3

Hey, it's Phos commenting on Phos! :D I'm really glad you liked this one. As a fellow Land of the Lustrous fan, I really got into the writing of this one. I know ASMR and sad stories are a weird mix, but I like to do it now and then. Really gets the writing juices flowing. Being forgotten really is a scary/sad thought. I've thought about that a few times before and I think part of me enjoys the idea of making stuff for when I'm gone. I don't mean that in a sad way though! It's strangely comforting knowing something can potentially live on in some way.

That level of being alone is not only sad, but very scary. Typically, anything with forgetting someone always gets me. It's a scary thought; being forgotten. Sadly, though when I think about it logically, what? 99 percent of us are? It's a way of the world I suppose. Which makes this story even more tear jerking is that her being a rock means she won't die. Sad stuff aside you truly have earned a chef's kiss on this story!!!!! Amazing job. I love when you do stories that are sad or scary, you don't hear many of them in this type of genre.

Also yeah that scene with the bear helped a lot for popularity, but I should say that it is not an actual bear in the sex scene lol. It is a man that shapeshifted into one. Also strangely enough, that isn't even the strangest sex scene in the game.

I knew it had to be getting pretty popular when my youtube recommended suddenly became flooded with it haha! I suppose there are times when what is recommended to me by the algorithm is spot on. I could be wrong, but this is the game that showed a scene between a character and a bear, I think? I only remember that because Asmon made a funny joke about it. Hey, if that's true though I love the immersion and I'm here for it lol. The more options and choices you have in a game the better in my opinion!

One of my favorite characters in Legend of Heroes probably has it the worst of what I can think of. Incredibly "top heavy" but still having like an overall slender frame, is a dancer for theater shows, is also an assassin that hops around on rooftops and has a very agile fighting style, but on top of all that has also decided that their weapon of choice is a great sword that is the size of her body. Her spine will be dust in 2 years bro. Baldur's Gate 3 is indeed a steam game and it even has reached the top 10 concurrent players on steam of all time which is nuts. I think it was something like over 850,000 concurrent players last weekend. It's gotten very popular and it's super fun! Hopefully one day you will be able to play it if you can't run it now. Also while a lot of things are sad cause of the prior mentioned murder cult, I did exaggerate a little about the lack of happy content lol. Not everything is bad and in particular there is a lot of opportunity to make your own happiness by helping others or providing closure for characters in the game (You can also make things A LOT worse for people if you wanted but lets ignore that for now). There's also romance's with pretty much any of the party members you get which is nice bit of levity compared to the plot as well.

There are also some heavy themes of Buddhism which I find really interesting. I made the joke with Skelly, but I went with Pieces of Me since Like a Stone was already taken xD

Much respect to those fictional waifus. They do it in the name of fanservice. Let us all have a moment of silence for the backs of waifus past. *lights a candle* I can see a story centering around that making you a little numb for sure haha! xD It's a steam game, right? I don't think my computer will be able to handle it, but I really want to play it sometime!

Can’t decide what’d be more fitting haha Definitely a sadder story, the concept of a gem losing its memories as it’s broken apart is really interesting. It also brings up the question of whether losing who you are is any worse than death. After all, people are just products of their experience. If you lose so much of yourself that the old you no longer exists, how different is that from dying really? Shit…that sounded maybe a little TOO emo lol

I'll never turn down a story whether it be happy, sad, or otherwise. Also playing Baldur's Gate 3 has temporarily numbed me to most sad things. When the main antagonist of a game is a cult of people that worship gods of murder, there's not many happy stories lol.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story! I try not to do too many sad ones, but I was really inspired with this one since I love Land of the Lustrous. Like you said, at least parts of her will be with the other gems so not as sad as it could be! I could have been really evil lol >:)

Also in my head cannon I'm the one that took that whole right arm, I gotta eat. This also may be one of the few cases where I think thicc thighs may be a downside, I can't imagine it would feel good for a rock girl to scrape against themselves lol.

I read the manga (at least up to a point) by buying the volumes digitally, but the distributer cut it off, so might need to check elsewhere to read the rest. I heard the anime had some of the best 3D animation for an anime.
