Even simpler though, it could be a case of our VOICE never worked on him in the first place. After all, we have encountered beings like Pepi who are able to resist us. With a being even more ancient and powerful than Pepi, like the Duke, the chance of him being immune to the VOICE is high. What if the Duke was so cunning that he would pose as someone else and place himself right next to us? It would be the perfect place watch and study us. If that was true than everything “Keth” has said and done has just been an act. Think about it! Keth ,a low-ranking demon ignorant to our power and abilities, was the first one we met. You would think there would be others around telling him what to do but he was by himself, real convenient right? Despite his low-ranking he knows exactly how to navigate the web to rescue our friends, how helpful. Then there was the point right after we freed Gastro, when we were stuck in the void. Also I vote to not release any of our captured demons since pepi and keth aren't in the right mind. Alright guys, we could get to the Duke next chapter, we gotta be smart. I'd love it if blazingcheeks would just let us fuck him over easy buuut if the Duke does have an idea to stop us, we have to be careful. 1. We need the Duke to tell their true intentions to us, so that they can no longer lie to us. (I'd like if the pollin would land on the beard or hair as a cute decoration or on the neck as a cute choker) Here's the important part, the pollin would stay as a bud until we make it bloom with our will. When we make it bloom, the snapdragon will be red instead of blue. I'm worried that if the Duke sees the original snapdragon and it pollinate, he'll just lie a bud on his head and have it bloom to make us thing we have our TOUCH on him. This way, he won't know it's suppose to bloom red. This way, he will think he's wise to our plan and invite us to take to him directly.
