Hey all :)

Merry Christmas!

Here's a quick Christmas-themed render with Claire that I threw together. Despite the limited time I had available to work on this, I'm really happy with how it came out.

I used a few effects in post to give this render a very subtle "soft" feeling. If you're not really a fan, you'll find two additional post-processing variants in the MEGA archive to choose from — one with sharper post-processing and minimal FX, and one that also uses the "soft" look but the effect is much less pronounced, to the point of being only slightly different from the "sharp" variant.

Looking back on my renders this year, I feel like I've really grown as an artist. Not just in terms of my Blender and post-processing capabilities, but I can also tell my "artist's eye" has gotten keener. While Blender is only a hobby for me, it is something I also take seriously, and my goal going forward into 2024 is to continue growing and improving as an artist. I want to keep making art for those who enjoy it, and I truly enjoy sharing my renders with you all. I'm deeply grateful for your support, and looking forward to continuing to share my Blender journey with you all next year! <3
