It's the little things.
Added 2025-01-27 02:00:03 +0000 UTCWhen I’m not working on Chapter 2 (or scrambling to figure out what I was trying to code), I go over Chapter 1 to see what needs fixing. Sometimes it’s amusing to catch the misspells that slipped through or recall the moments when I was tired and struggling with a bad ADHD day and that tip-of-the-tongue feeling.
I’ve fixed a bit, but there’s more to tackle. Since I currently have no beta readers, those will have to wait for another day. So, I offer a look at the changes I've made to MC seeing G. (this will be in the ch. 1 demo update once I push it through.) I picture this scene like a moment from one of my favorite K-dramas—cue the melodious music and rain, with G drenched and dramatic (and scowling, did I mention scowling). You can check it out below~
All these feelings play out in a matter of seconds, the amount of your unresolved emotions bubbling up to the surface.
"$p_nn." $g_HeShe whispers.
The air seems to vanish from your lungs, leaving you breathless. A soft gasp escapes before you can stop it. <i>Years… it’s been years, and still, out of everyone, $g_heshe’s the one who uses my nickname,</i> you think, your lips curving into a wistful smile.
$g_HeShe doesn’t move at first, you can see $g_hisher jaw tighten. $g_name’s brows pinch together, $g_hisher lips pull into a tight line. $g_HeShe takes a hesitant step forward, $g_hisher eyes never leaving yours.
