Hey everyone ~

I'm starting the month off doing my finals for Uni. (One step closer to that bachelor's!) The demo will be getting a little update later this month to smooth out some things for Ch. 2. I'm making progress on Chapter 2, albeit slow, but it's still progress.

The first week of this month might be a tad slow as I finish up my finals but otherwise it's a busy month. I'm thinking once I finish the extra Ch. 1 Pov's for the Ro's, I want to start doing some for Jade/Chris, and filling out some of the past events. Such as Mc's first date with Chris or even their first kiss with Cam/Ex-G. I've already started working on a flashback of when the engagement was announced to Kara and Cam.

Here's a glimpse at Cam's Pov.

He exhales sharply, forcing his hand to move.<i> Just open the door, Cam. It’s just your best friend. In your room. Alone. Totally normal. </i>

The thought makes his stomach churn, but he twists the knob anyway. Inhaling a shaky breath, his free hand pulls at strands of red hair as he braces himself or whatever mess might be waiting for him.

His heart hammers in his chest as he pushes the door open. The familiar scent hitting him – wood, Em’s favorite fabric softener, a light hint of vanilla. And, the faintest hint of something else, a scent he finds comforting, yet bittersweet, twisting his heart in a way he can’t quite place. <i> $p_name. </i>

“I need…” The words catch in your throat, your voice barely above a whisper. You close your eyes for a moment, summoning the courage to say it. Deep breath in, deep breath out. “I need you to distract me. Make me stop thinking about Chris.”
