Fleetway Sonic Overview + Status Report
Added 2017-12-02 14:15:23 +0000 UTCDuring November I read Fleetway's "Sonic the Comic" and I just released Part 1 in a series that I intend to make about it. I'm going to take a short break from Fleetway and make some other videos before returning to Part 2. This video was supposed to be ready two weeks ago but I having trouble making the video initially, originally I wanted to try and encapsulate all my thoughts on Fleetway in one video, but it just wasn't turning out the way I wanted, so I decided to break the video into parts. I also want to talk to some of the British fans who have reached out to me who are more knowledgeable about the series than I am before I make Part 2, which is why it won't be my next video. I'm going to try and make sure several more videos come out this month.
I was actually fairly productive in terms of doing research and writing scripts during November, I just ended up taking way longer to produce this Fleetway video than I originally intended. Actually I spent a lot of time plotting out the course of the channel over the next few months. When I first started making videos again I had a whole bunch of ideas I had been thinking about for literally years, the Sonic 2 Bonus Video, a Chaotix Video, a Sonic CD video. I finally had to actually take some time and consider what "Phase 2" of the channel is gonna be like, now that I've gotten most of those videos out of the way. Other things I did in November include reading "Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal City Mayhem" by James Wallis, and I'm working on the best way to make a video about it (it's a CYOA book so I might do a livestream let's read or something), and I played a fair amount of Sonic Forces. I'm not really looking forward to making a Forces video but I realize I'm kind of obligated to, so that'll be one of my next few videos. So thanks for being patient, I will try to release more content than usual this month to make up for the wait.

Next to Nerrel, you're the shit. Even if you don't make another video for years, I don't care because sometimes people need support just in case they can. Expecting every creator to constantly make a stream of content is expecting something of someone that you wouldnt want to be expected of yourself. Plus 1 dollar a month is just one less donut I probably shouldn't eat.

2017-12-03 03:34:22 +0000 UTCI'm a british fan who's read all of them if you need any perspective or questions answered, I'm aware the comic can get a bit batshit at times and I have some context on the art and the people who made it back in the day. Especially the abstract art style used in some of the comic which I'm aware is not to many's taste. Richard Elson was the comic style favourite and ended up headlining the 'main story' pages of it more often toward the end of it's circulation. Hope it's a ride even if not all of it is to your liking. :P 10 year old me really liked the comic back in the day though, I collected most of the issues.
