What do you think?

Quick question about adventure structure and the use of one-shot adventures.
When you pick up a new one-shot adventure, do you expect the adventure to include and describe a meeting place for the adventure to begin? Usually a tavern, adventurer's guild, or similar. Or would you rather not have that so that you can use your own guilds, patrons, quest-givers from your world?

I think hooks to include them in a game is a great idea but including the meeting place itself can be helpful but not always needed.
