Visage of Death - Level-4 Adventure (GOLD)
Added 2025-04-20 18:29:59 +0000 UTCDenizens of the Tower! In Visage of Death, the characters are called upon for help by a desperate faun, Thistlecap Whisperleaf. The faun has surveyed a war-band of orcs in Grimgrove forest attempting an obscure ritual by a shunned, ruined temple. He heard the chieftain say they needed living sacrifices. The orcs marched south toward a small hamlet named Gray Hollow Mill. The party must defend the settlement from attacks.
After enduring the orcs' onslaught upon the mill, the characters journey north to the Pavilion of Bones. There, they encounter the orc chieftain Gor'Thak. This orc is a mage apprentice who dabbles in dark magic. Gor'Thak has communed with an otherworldly entity within the sculpted, cadaverous visage in the Pavilion of Bones. The dark being demands the blood of sacrifices; it has promised the orc great power in exchange for these poor souls.
This adventure has been published in both the D&D 5e and Shadowdark systems. Pick your game of choice and have fun exploring our amazing locations and adventures!
