799 Queendell - City (D&D 5e + Shadowdark)
Added 2024-09-12 20:28:15 +0000 UTCDenizens of the Tower! In Queendell, the characters start their adventures in Leaf Valley. This is a great place for up-and-coming mercenaries to start their adventuring careers. The bounty to slay a perilous dragon is 3,000 gold pieces! All sellswords currently have job opportunities in the form of escort missions between the many settlements in the valley. Not many shall dare to oppose the draconic abomination but employment is plentiful as they gain experience and renown.
For those brave enough, like the characters, the path forward leads them to the Bastion of Leaves. The ruler, Shalendra, summoned knights and strong mercenaries to talk about the war effort against the ruby dragon. Her priority is first to move refugees and people in need to be sheltered in Queendell. But she makes her priorities known: the ruby dragon must be slain!
Some variant monsters are included here. Statblocks for these new critters are available for D&D 5e and Shadowdark RPG. You can find them in the regional release of Leaf Valley here.
