This is a thematic magazine issue that includes a small regional setting and nine interconnected adventures/scenarios that occur within. The overall theme is a concerning climate situation in the Scalding Duchy. In this goblin-inhabited desert territory, every few thousand years an alignment of extraplanar bodies causes the already harsh environment in the desert to become unbearable, even for the beings that inhabit it. The goblins are aware of four ancient temples hidden in the barren dunes. A mighty ritual must be performed in each temple to prematurely end the climate havoc in the area.
Dungeon Vault Magazine contains adventures designed for D&D5e and Shadowdark RPG but they can easily be ported to other medieval fantasy systems.
