795 The Silver Bastion (D&D 5e + Shadowdark)
Added 2024-08-26 22:58:34 +0000 UTCDenizens of the Tower! In The Silver Bastion, the characters arrive at the second temple in the merciless dunes of the Scalding Duchy. They find a goblin campsite of allied goblins outside the temple. They denounce their desert kin, currently locked inside the temple's sanctum, for driving them from the temple grounds to impede access to the main altar.
When the characters enter the dungeon, they quickly encounter these desert goblins. They have deeply ingrained beliefs that casting the Pact of the Sun ritual is counter to nature. In their view, if all shall be consumed by the merciless sun, then so be it. When the characters gain access to the main altar, they encounter a shaman goblin willing to give his life to thwart the efforts of the characters. They dislike the civilized goblin societies in the duchy and won't stand their presence.
Unique goblin variants and desert creatures are part of this adventure. Statblocks for these new monsters are available for D&D 5e and Shadowdark RPG. You can find them in the regional release of The Scalding Duchy here.
