794 Coppersand Hold (D&D 5e + Shadowdark)

Denizens of the Tower! In Coppersand Hold, the heroes explore the first of the four goblin temples. They must perform the Pact of the Sun ritual, using the gilded lotus provided by Duke Grix. This won't be easy; a group of Scalding Duchy goblins believe the ritual is a defilement of this sacred place and won't allow anyone inside the temple grounds.

This is an adventure that has the heroes explore an ancient dungeon temple. They must overcome not only the Scalding Duchy desert's threats but also the fanatic goblin tribes and the timeless perils within the dungeon. There is no turning back, the future of the desert depends on the rituals they must perform. Are the adventurers brave enough to step up to the task?

Unique goblin variants and desert creatures are part of this adventure. Statblocks for these new monsters are available for D&D 5e and Shadowdark RPG. You can find them in the regional release of The Scalding Duchy here.

Hello Johann, thanks for the comment. First, I admit the "S's" marked on the map are smaller than usual. But they appear only in the small corridors between area 4 and 7, and to access area 6, the vault. Second, the description, purpose and DC are described on the first page, just above the Random Events. That applies to all secret passageways.

What is the description, purpose, skill DC, mechanism for the “secret passages” alluded to in the text. The location on the map needed me to zoom in heavily to find them.
