Everybody wants to be friends with Felwin but, what's the reason?

Traveler! This adventure tells the story of Felwin, a scientist gnome. Always an outcast during his childhood, this prodigy never had any friends. He was always unable to socialize like a normal person. But this seemingly negative feature of his life forced him to find refuge in books and science. It worked and he became a skillful magician and a chemist.

Felwin created two large golems to protect him and took over some dwarven ruins. What he calls home now is where he developed a magical potion. This powerful liquid makes anyone who drinks it a friend of Felwin. No questions asked. The gnome dressed as an itinerant merchant and gave away several samples of his new invention. Two dozen people have gone missing now. They are all in Felwin's hideout, brainwashed and charmed. These people will never return to their families unless someone stops the misfit gnome.

This is a level 7 adventure with a bit of exploration, combat, and a social quandary like the characters have never seen! Here's a low-def preview of this illustration:

Here's a close-up of Felwin's quarters and library where two large automatons protect his home. The characters can destroy the golems or catch the gnome first to remove the control stone from him.

Near the entrance of Felwin's home, there is a large pool where all of Felwin's new friends party endlessly, all to Felwin's expense. The charmed townsfolk are charmed by the ruthless gnome but no one can say they are having a bad day. They have fun and frolic all day long.
