Community interaction it is!

Damn, that poll was closer than I expected it was going to be. Seems like community interaction just about edged it from further tag improvements, but it's obvious you guys really want the focus on these two subjects. For the next couple months it'll mostly be interactions, after that I'll go right onto tag improvements!

What needs attention in May & June?

There's still a couple small things to fix and improve on the website, but what should be the next feature that gets focus in the next months?

All of these will eventually be implemented, it's just to see what you guys prefer to get attention first!

Holy carps it's only been two days

Quick update that I wanted to bring on Patreon and over email, there have been some fixes to the Patreon connection the past few days which worked great for the things they fixed, however one addition is going a little haywire.

If you lose your tier for whatever reason on the site, you can always:

• Browse to the homepage

• Click "Manage my account"

• Under "Patreon", select "Update tier" - you should now have your tier back!

Small update

So, evidently, the site did not go live on the 19th.

I am currently at a convention (read: holiday) where on the way to the con, I found a critical bug that would not allow you to register an account with Patreon. Seems fairly important for the website.

It has to do with email verification and the emails being hashed on the user table. In other words: I don't know your email at the time of verifying it (or retrying verification), and that needs to be fixed.

As you might have noticed, the site is still offline, but payments went out. Pretty dumb mistake, and sorry about that. There's supposed to be a payment pause until the site is back up. All the monthly IV pro payments should be refunded. Hi all!

Thank you all so much for supporting InflateVids and covering costs for January. In that month some stuff got fixed too:

• Liked videos now work again (though filters won't work)
• Thumbnail picker should be working on phones again (and have a default picture selected)
• Videos got limited to 480p for non-patrons (hopefully temp)
• Pro patrons get full quality for -everyone- on their own unlisted videos

Beta rollout & Patreon billing change

To start: this billing change won't affect current patrons. You will still be charged on the 1st of every month. Only new patrons will now be charged on the day they joined, which also means you wouldn't pay double if you pledged on the last day of the month. Patreon finally fixed this issue! Hooray!

Ye alright, monthly updates I should be able to do.

Over the past month I have experimented more with developing the website on multiple servers and been slowly rewriting all of the features you are already used to (dislike counter visibility, Patreon integration, etc.).

Hopefully somewhere in September I'll have the new website ready for some patron testing before releasing it to the wider audience somewhere in November or December. Maybe in time for the second birthday of Inflat...
