Who can stop the cursed undead from the Haggen's Mausleum?
Added 2021-12-27 19:10:47 +0000 UTCTraveler! The Haggen's Mausoleum is a level 7 adventure. The Haggen family is loved and popular in the city of Vernal. Mother Superior Helga Haggen lived her whole life being an example of good and all that is right. The woman paladin could not fulfill her life goal, despite her numerous achievements. To retrieve the Holy Morningstar of Light was an objective that eluded her until she died.
The mausoleum holds a place of honor for Helga, but her restless spirit cannot find peace in the afterlife. Her frustration and impotence are such that she even corrupted the rest of the Haggens buried with her. Now the dead come out at night and attack the innocents. Could someone parley with Helga and make a deal? Or must she be destroyed? This is a tier-2 adventure with a bit of exploration, combat, and nasty traps! Deep down the dungeon, a chamber with funerary plinths and stone caskets hold the bodily remains of moderately important members of the Haggen family.
