A fight to rescue the late king's heirs!

This is an adventure about a daring attempt from the queen mother to succeed her late husband before letting the steward inherit the power momentarily while the heirs are underage. If this sounds like the kind of swashbuckling court drama you want in your game then it is!
The king signed a decree that legitimizes this claim but it will only last 6 years while the firstborn comes of age. In the meantime, the queen mother has secluded herself with her children in the castle's keep. She is guarded by a select group of loyalists that plan to protect them until the queen herself is crowned in an illegal ceremony. The kingdom's steward wants to solve this calmly and so this situation is to be handled with care. Not the queen mother, nor the heirs must be harmed.

wow Jordan, flying invisible spellcaster sure puts a wench on this encounter. Hope you all had fun with this one!. Those guards never had a chance.

2020-10-22 19:59:01 +0000 UTCHad fun with the adventure, the group I hosted for were quick to kill the mage with spells and a warlock had winged boots and cast darkness on himself which made him a flying wrecking ball for the guards.
