An order of knowledge-seeking monks work and live in the Crescent Moon Library. This repository of knowledge is located in the desert, somewhat protected by the inclement weather and heat. The monks delved in the secrets of the arcane manipulation of existence. Their thirst for knowledge was so strong that they performed the ultimate taboo in magic. With a bloody ritual, they linked their souls to the essence of the abyss. This caused a fundamental transformation on their bodies. They were not bound by physical needs anymore. With no need for rest, food, or water, they were able to work tirelessly for months.
However, their suppressed needs did not support their dying bodies. Their bodies started to degrade until they ere nothing but husks of the scholars they once were. Now they prowl the library, continuing their unending research. Their bodies are mockeries of the past, their souls sorry imitations of a human soul.

Among other things... I write reports for a living. I’ve delivered a dozen reportsnover the past week, each 3K-4K typed words each. 1,450 reports over the past 4.5 years. Also... been playing dnd since 85’. Appreciate good artwork and model my inspection worksheet templates after the dnd character sheets.
