Final Fight MD Patreon - version 2024-09-23

Since yesterday, several details have been fixed, many of them important to maintain the game's stability. I recommend downloading and testing this new version.

- Shadows removed, keeping only Andore's, as per the arcade version.

- Extended the appearance time of Damnd in Round 1-3.

- Implemented additional frame overflow checkpoints to avoid addressing failures.

- Added a defragmentation point in Round 3-1 to allow more enemies on screen at the start.

- Modified initial defragmentation in Round 3-1 to better handle enemies on screen and prevent image corruption.

- Added U. Andore in Round 3-2 starting from the hard difficulty level, who will appear after other enemies are eliminated.

- Fixed the positioning of Holly Wood / El Gado when grabbed by Haggar, including the pile driver.

- Fixed the upper limit of the bridge stage.

- Fixed the height of Edi E.'s revolver bullets.

- Fixed the bug where the character wouldn't die, which was still occurring.

- Fixed quick sprite corruption in the Round 1-1 intro and modified it to display the screen without showing the scenario building.

- Fixed collision height of barrels hitting players.

- Fixed map corruption in the bonus stage (Round 2-5).

- Fixed HUD entry effect cleanup to avoid block corruption.

- Fixed the issue of not hitting knife throws on enemies lying down.

De ontem pra hoje foram vários detalhes corrigidos, muitos deles importantes para manter a estabilidade do jogo. Recomendo que baixem e testem essa nova versão:

- Sombras removidas, mantido somente as do Andore, conforme o arcade.

- Prolongado tempo de aparição do Damnd no Round 1-3.

- Implementado mais pontos de verificação de estouro de frames para evitar falhas de endereçamento.

- Adicionado ponto de desframentação no Round 3-1 para permitir mais inimigos na tela logo de início.

- Modificado desframentação inicial do Round 3-1 para comportar melhor os inimigos na tela e não apresentar corrupção na imagem.

- Adicionado U. Andore no Round 3-2 a partir do nível de dificuldade difícil, que deverá aparecer ao eliminar os outros inimigos.

- Corrigido posicionamento do Holly Wood / El Gado ao ser agarrado pelo Haggar, incluindo pile driver.

- Corrigido limite superior do cenário da ponte.

- Corrigido altura das balas do revolver do Edi E.

- Corrigido bug do personagem não morrer, que ainda persistia.

- Corrigido corrupção rápida de sprites na entrada do Round 1-1 e modificado para exibir a tela sem mostrar a construção do cenário.

- Corrigido altura de colisão dos latões que acertam os jogadores.

- Corrigido corrupção do mapa na fase de bônus (Round 2-5).

- Corrigido limpeza do efeito de entrada do HUD para evitar corrupção de blocos.

- Corrigido para não acertar o arremesso das facas em inimigos deitados.

I found a blocker in current version. It is possible to have the cop boss not spawn if you kill all of the henchmen before having the cop boss displayed on the screen. Shadows do not affect speed, I removed them to make more space in VRAM for more sprites. I will check about Damnd's shadow. Thanks for testing and your support!

Thanks for the update. I’ve played through several times with each character and have not run into any issues with crashes! Performance seems even better, I am assuming it’s from removing the animated shadows. Other than the Andores, I think Damnd in the arcade has a shadow as well if I’m not mistaken.

I finally had some spare time to play through all three stages and it ran very well. Thank you very much for your continued efforts on this. What type of feedback or help be the most beneficial from us ? Bugs we find, discrepancies from the arcade version, etc ?
