2025-03-28 13:13:48 +0000 UTCDuring a documentary about the Mongol Empire, I saw the fruit for an actually good Assassin Creed game story, since the group, the Hashashin (what is popularly known as The Order of Assassins) actually had an interesting involvement in the Mongol Empire. Assassin Creed Mongol could be about the old order getting absolutely wrecked by the Mongols (because that's what happened) and the main character rebuilding them into the beginning of the order that exists in the game's future world. Of course that would require the developers to actually learn anything about history at all and realising there is actual interesting events rather than sticking with a pop culture interpretation of history.
