2023-11-23 09:29:05 +0000 UTCI think part of the issue here, too, is balancing them against the game's overall pacing within the associated rising action. If any of those three are out of sync, something feels off. I'll concede though, that it does seem the overall game-arc's flaws can be forgiven with good enough game play. JC2 springs to mind: incredibly non-linear but suffered for it pacing-wise. Meanwhile, the game play was fantastic.
