Ya it was a bummer that the show runner wasn't willing to follow the books, as the books are amazing!

2023-08-18 16:06:27 +0000 UTCThis show has gone from being "The Witcher" to being "The Ciri And Yennefer Show, with occasional guest appearances by Geralt." I have not liked the way this show has gone. Maybe it is a good thing it is ending after this season.

2023-08-14 04:18:21 +0000 UTCAlthough I disagree with Mish that "nothing" has happened overall (Aretuza has been sacked, the Brotherhood has been broken, Redanian plans have been thwarted, Nilfgaard has begun its war - seemingly successfully) those political consequences haven't really been shown/explained enough during the episodes to show why they matter. In fact, I'd say Game of Thrones initially did a far better job of exploring political ramifications & how they impacted on individual characters.
